A reporter reported that at 19:57 on 25 August 2026, Mr. Jakrin Pongsamphan, head of the Sawang Keereetham rescue station in Chiang Khan, Loei Province, along with paramedics from Pak Tom Subdistrict Administrative Organization, received a request for help from relatives of Ms. Lu Khamsaeng, 25, a Chiang Khan resident. She was pregnant with her third child and in labor. Upon receiving the call, the rescue team quickly took a vehicle to assist and rushed her to Chiang Khan Hospital.
However, after traveling about 9 kilometers, near Ban Kok Ngiu in Pak Tom Subdistrict, Chiang Khan District, Ms. Lu said she could no longer endure as her water broke and she was about to give birth. They immediately stopped the vehicle and assisted with the delivery for about 5 minutes, successfully delivering a healthy baby boy. Both mother and child were safe and in good condition. They then contacted Chiang Khan Hospital to take over and transfer her.
Meanwhile, lottery players eagerly checked the license plate of the rescue vehicle that transported the pregnant woman. The vehicle was a white Toyota rescue truck with license plate number บบ 8764 Loei, which many saw as a lucky number to use for the upcoming lottery draw.
