Lucky Lottery Vendor Makes Offering and Seeks Lucky Numbers from Ta Thong Ngiu Rai After Winning Lottery with Unsold Tickets

A lucky lottery vendor won over 200,000 baht from a set of unsold lottery tickets at her stall and hurriedly brought water as an offering to "Ta Thong Ngiu Rai," while also observing the holy water basin hoping for lucky numbers. "Lucky numbers for this draw" to bring more fortune.

On 27 Aug 2026 GMT+7, a reporter reported that yesterday morning at Wat Sawang Arom, Khae Thao, Khun Kaeo Subdistrict, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province, Supansa Mingsayont, 40, a lottery vendor at a market in Nakhon Chai Si, brought her family and offerings including 39 packs of drinking water and 89 packs of red soda to pay respect and fulfill a vow to "Ta Thong Ngiu Rai," a statue known for bringing luck and wealth, seated prominently in the sermon hall beneath a model of Phra Ngern Phra Thong. She also brought flowers, incense, and candles to the hall to pray for blessings and luck from Ta Thong Ngiu Rai.

During this visit, Supansa revealed that on the morning of 1 Aug 2026, lottery draw day, she rode her motorcycle carrying her lottery stall up to the sermon hall, paid respects to Phra Ngern Phra Thong, and stopped to pay homage to Ta Thong Ngiu Rai. She brought the lottery tickets because she had about 400 unsold tickets left, and with daily rain, fewer people came out to markets, so the remaining tickets piled up. As it was the last day of the draw, having too many leftover tickets meant she wouldn’t have funds to buy more for resale.

That day she left home early and passed Wat Sawang Arom on the way to the market, so she stopped at the temple to offer flowers, incense, and candles to Phra Ngern Phra Thong and prayed to sell all her tickets. She also stopped to pray to Ta Thong Ngiu Rai, asking for help and luck, vowing that if the unsold tickets didn’t sell, she wished for those remaining to win some prize, since her funds to buy new tickets had run out and her family was struggling. She promised that if she won from those tickets, she would offer red soda and drinking water as a thank-you. That day it rained, leaving over 200 tickets unsold, including a set of 10 tickets with number 578100 that nobody wanted to buy, even when sold individually.

In the afternoon when the results were announced, she told her children that she would have to stop selling next time due to lack of funds to buy new tickets. She asked them to watch TV and check the leftover tickets for any prizes. Unexpectedly, the set of 10 tickets she still had won fifth prize. Her child ran to tell her that they now had money to buy more tickets to sell, having won over 200,000 baht. They waited to verify the win the next morning and confirmed it was true. She then took her child to claim the prize and bought more tickets to sell. She considered this a blessing from Ta Thong Ngiu Rai and had promised to bring offerings if she won, so she came to fulfill that vow.

Supansa added that since she was here to fulfill her vow to Ta Thong Ngiu Rai, she hoped to receive luck once more. She then looked at the drops of candle wax in the holy water basin placed nearby and clearly saw the numbers 524 and 37. She said she would use these numbers to try her luck again, hoping Ta Thong would grant another big blessing. If she wins this draw, she said she would come back to pay respects again and bring offerings, possibly a gold necklace, before returning home.
