On 31 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reports indicated that yesterday (30 Aug) in Village No. 2, Yanri Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province, gamblers hurried into the forest to perform a ritual seeking lucky numbers. The 'Giant Termite Mound'. It was an old, original hole that had brought luck many times before the rain fell.
They chose to perform the ritual at night as usual, lighting incense to inform the guardian spirits to open luck and fortune for the participants, then presented the five offerings to the Giant Termite Mound to request luck once again.
They then dropped two sets of rolled papers with numbers 0-9 into the termite mound's hole and waited. After more than two hours, the mound brought up two pieces of paper.
Upon opening, the numbers 3 and 0 appeared. The gamblers then left the forest to take these numbers home to try their luck in the 1 September 2026 lottery, hoping the Giant Termite Mound would bring them luck once more.
