A 34-year-old woman from Uthai Thani received a fortune of hundreds of thousands as she wished. She returned with her family to fulfill a vow to "Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet - Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng," setting off 5,000 firecrackers as an offering and searching for "lucky numbers 16/9/69" to try their luck again.
On 6 September 2026 at Ruesi Nen Shrine, Western Ring Road No. 9, Po Taeng Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, many people, both Thai and foreign, came to pay respects to sacred objects within the shrine, including the world's largest Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet statue, Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng, nine-faced Thao Wessuwan, Lady Takian tree spirit, the monkey spirit in the Jindamani cave, Grandfather Ruesi Kletkaew, and the original Naga King statue.
Many brought various offerings to fulfill vows, such as pumpkins, red drink, rice, water, snacks, and toys. They also participated in ceremonies offering fruit and wrapping cloth on the tiger statue of Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet in the great millionaire posture, received holy water blessings from the five millionaires, and had Master Ruesi Nen perform Buddha element blessings, chant "Na Phra Lak" golden face spells, and anoint their hands to open millionaire luck for auspiciousness. All offerings brought to fulfill vows will be collected by the shrine to donate to schools, temples, hospitals, and foundations for charitable use.
According to an interview, Ms. Som, 34, from Uthai Thani Province, came with her family carrying 100 pumpkins to offer Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet, along with 99 packs of red drink and 5,000 firecrackers to offer Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng in fulfillment of a vow after winning hundreds of thousands.
Ms. Som said this was her second visit to the shrine. Her mother saw on TV that many people came here to pray and succeeded. On the previous visit, she and her family came to pray for luck from Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet and Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng, and afterwards received hundreds of thousands. This time, she brought offerings to fulfill her vow.
Before leaving, she set off firecrackers to offer Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng and took the firecracker tail numbers, 96 and 048, to try her luck in the next lottery draw.
