A lucky woman fulfilled her vow at the Ruesi Nen Shrine after winning the 4th prize in the lottery. Lottery enthusiasts eagerly searched for "lucky numbers" to try their luck in the upcoming draw.
On 9 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reports stated that at the Ruesi Nen Shrine, Western Ring Road No. 9, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, many people—both Thai and foreign—came to pay respects to sacred objects within the shrine, including the largest Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet statue in the world, Kuman Thong Jao Sua Heng, the nine-faced Thao Wessuwan, the Takien goddess, the cave-dwelling monkey spirit Jinda Mani, and Grandfather Ruesi Kledkaew, the first Naga King.
Many brought various offerings to repay vows, including pumpkins, red soda, rice, water, snacks, toys, and fruit to drape the tiger robe over Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet in his great wealth pose. They also offered rice and made traditional ceremonies called "Yok Por Kae," during which Master Ruesi Nen, a Buddhist relic master, inscribed sacred mantras such as "Na Phra Lak" on gold-faced amulets and performed hand anointing to open the wealth destiny for good fortune.
Upon inquiry, Khun Aoy, a 26-year-old from Nonthaburi Province who came with her family, brought 299 pumpkins to fulfill her vow to Grandfather Ruesi Phrommet, along with 99 bottles of red soda and a large set of fried chicken to offer to the wealthy spirit child, Kuman Thong Jao Sua Heng, after receiving a big fortune by winning 4 lottery tickets of the 4th prize, totaling 160,000 baht.
Meanwhile, many visitors paying respects to the sacred objects took note of the lucky winner’s vehicle registration number, 1298, to use as a guide for trying their luck in the lottery.
