A 27-year-old man dressed in blue traditional Thai costume performed a dance of thanks to the twin Takian goddesses after receiving the fortune he requested. A reporter reported that on the evening of 13 Sep 2026 GMT+7, at the house of the twin Takian goddesses “Mae Praphatsorn and Mae Kannikar” inside a Thai-style house by the Prachinburi River at Wat Mai Krong Thong, Sri Maha Phot District, Prachinburi Province, a 27-year-old man dressed in blue traditional Thai attire came to perform a dance of thanks after having previously prayed for good fortune and having his wish fulfilled.
Before starting the ceremony, he lit incense and candles while reciting his thanks, then presented a bai sri arrangement, garlands, and green-pink traditional Thai costumes as offerings. Afterwards, he played music and performed the dance of thanks for about 10 minutes amid intermittent rain and occasional thunder and lightning. At the same time, he lit incense for divination, which revealed the numbers 7489.
After the ceremony, he sat to rest in the Thai-style house and took photos as keepsakes. Upon reviewing the photos, he noticed something unusual in the mirror behind him—a shadow resembling a long-haired woman smiling. This caused those who saw the photo to feel chills and speculate about the origin of the shadow.
The 27-year-old man said that previously he had received good fortune after following a temple travel page. He prayed to the twin Takian goddesses that if his wish was granted, he would return to perform a dance of thanks. After his wish was fulfilled, he came back to keep his promise, bringing offerings and traditional Thai costumes. He acknowledged this as a personal belief but said he believes the “twin Takian goddesses” are real because he received fortune after praying to them, so he intended to fulfill his vow.
