A woman and her husband traveled to fulfill a vow to the Reclining Ganesha statue at Wat Saman Rattanaram after their business succeeded as they had hoped. They brought nine pickup trucks loaded with fruit to distribute to villagers, and before leaving, they lit auspicious incense sticks, hoping to get lucky numbers for the lottery.
On 15 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reports stated that on the morning of 14 Sep at Wat Saman Rattanaram in Bang Kaeo Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province, many people gathered to receive fruit offerings after news spread that someone would fulfill a vow and distribute large amounts of fruit. The atmosphere was lively as people lined up to receive fruit including pomelos, pineapples, coconuts, and watermelons brought on nine pickup trucks, reaching more than 500 recipients.
The couple fulfilling the vow were Ms. Surarak Singjurai, 37, and Mr. Navin Thongin, 35, owners of a beauty salon business who traveled from Pathum Thani Province.
Ms. Surarak revealed that she had previously visited Wat Saman Rattanaram three times about four years ago to make merit and pray to the Reclining Ganesha statue by the Bang Pakong River. She prayed for land to build her beauty salon and for business success, hoping to pay off the land and complete construction smoothly.
Her prayers were fulfilled beyond expectations, as the land and building value exceeded seven figures. She planned to return to fulfill her vow. After more than four years, with the business succeeding as hoped, she returned to fulfill the vow, bringing nine pickup trucks loaded with fruit to distribute to over 500 people waiting at the temple, creating a lively atmosphere.
After completing the vow ceremony, Ms. Surarak lit incense sticks for divination to find lucky numbers. Lottery enthusiasts who came to receive fruit eagerly watched the incense numbers, which showed 9 7 2. Many hoped to use these numbers for the upcoming lottery, making the atmosphere at Wat Saman Rattanaram especially vibrant.
