Parents exhumed their child's body from the cemetery after five years because a feng shui caretaker heard a child crying for milk. They also recounted how the child brought them frequent lottery wins during pregnancy.
At 08:00 on 31 Oct 2026, Mr. Krisanapong Boontang, 35, and Mrs. Supharat Sathaa, 32, went to the old cemetery in Village 1, Tha Toom Subdistrict, Si Maha Phot District, Prachinburi Province, to exhume the body of their daughter, who had been buried about five years earlier.
The reason for exhuming the daughter's body was that the parents received a call from villagers cleaning the feng shui area, reporting they heard a child crying for milk. They said the sound was frequently heard within the old cemetery.
The couple then discussed and, after being informed by the villagers, agreed to exhume the child's body to perform merit-making rituals. They invited monks and rescue officials to assist with the exhumation, and the parents prepared clothes and shoes to dress the child.
Before exhuming, the parents brought food to the child and burned incense to inform and ask for luck. The incense number was 025, which matched the child's age of 5 years and 2 days. Everyone planned to use this number for lottery bets on 1 Nov 2026.
Mr. Krisanapong, the father, added that during pregnancy, the child had an abnormal swelling in a neck cyst. After hospital visits lasting over five months, doctors advised terminating the pregnancy. He then buried the child's body in this cemetery, and now it has been 5 years and 2 days.
After the feng shui caretaker heard the child's cries, the father thought the child wanted to be reborn. He consulted with his wife, and they decided to exhume the body to perform merit-making rituals. Since pregnancy, the child has frequently brought them lottery luck.
