Success fulfilled, a man hires the "Louis Puppet Theater" to perform a ritual dance of thanks to "Lord Vessavana" at Don Yai Temple and does not forget to light incense sticks to ask for "lucky lottery numbers" before returning to try his luck on 1/11/69
On 31 October 2026, reporters reported that at Don Yai Temple, Khlong 8, Lam Luk Ka Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, the atmosphere was lively with many devotees and believers flocking to pray and make offerings to Lord Vessavana.
Lord Vessavana is revered by believers as a deity of fortune, luck, career, and finances. Many who have prayed and received blessings continue to come to ask for favors and make offerings throughout the day. Most offerings are brought by devotees according to their faith and financial ability; there is no specified requirement for what must be offered to Lord Vessavana.
Mr. Sarawut Chantrawanman traveled from Nonthaburi Province, bringing offerings and the Louis puppet theater troupe, a youth group named Wayubut, to make offerings to Lord Vessavana after successfully completing overseas performance engagements, which involved complex procedures and travel, fulfilling his wishes.
Mr. Sarawut said that previously he and his sister prayed to Lord Vessavana, asking that all processes and arrangements for the overseas work proceed smoothly, and if successful, he would bring the puppet troupe to perform a ritual dance as thanks.
Shortly after praying, the work was successfully completed, and he was able to perform overseas as desired. He was very happy that his first prayer was fulfilled. Today, he came to fulfill his vow by presenting a traditional puppet show, "Hanuman Captures Lady Suphannamatcha," as an offering to Lord Vessavana to express gratitude for his success. Before leaving, he lit incense sticks and received the number 459 to take home and try his luck.
Meanwhile, Ms. Sukanya Sert Sangwan traveled from the Don Mueang area, bringing two bags of rice, a pack of drinking water, and ritual offerings to thank Lord Vessavana after her son was accepted into a pilot training program as she had hoped.
Ms. Sukanya said she had come to pray to Lord Vessavana about two weeks ago, asking that her son be accepted into the pilot training program. When the exam results were announced, her son was accepted as hoped. Although she had confidence in her son's ability to pass, praying to Lord Vessavana gave her peace of mind as a mother and served as a spiritual anchor.
Now that her son has successfully passed as intended, she returned to make offerings to express her gratitude and joy at his success. Before leaving, she lit incense sticks and received the number 124 to take home and try her luck.
