The Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce, announced that it is advancing the national policy to promote and develop franchise businesses by organizing the 2nd Franchise Career Roadshow in Chiang Mai. The DBD brought over 40 leading franchise brands covering food, beverage, service, and retail sectors to provide opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, small business operators, and the general public to select franchises that fit their interests and capabilities, with direct business negotiations available with franchise owners at the event.

Additionally, the 2nd Franchise Career Roadshow focuses on linking business networks from central to regional areas, supporting Thai franchise operators in expanding into local markets and increasing brand awareness. The event also offers unemployed individuals and those wishing to start their own business easier access to franchise investments, which will help stimulate the grassroots economy and strengthen regional economic systems. Key activities at the event include:


- Exhibitions and sales of franchise business products from various sectors.

- Business matching sessions to create opportunities for trade cooperation.

- Investment consulting and franchise business management advice from financial institutions participating in booths, providing guidance, funding support, and special conditions for attendees.

- Exclusive promotions and special franchise discounts available only at the event.

The Franchise Career Roadshow serves as a crucial mechanism to drive the country's economy and is part of the government's economic recovery measures. The 2nd Franchise Career Roadshow is scheduled from 15-18 January 2026 at the Promotion Area, 1st Floor, Central Chiang Mai Shopping Center (ZenFes), from 10:00 to 22:00.
