Daikin Launches AIR CREATOR, New ASEAN Brand Focused on Personalization

Mr. Takayoshi Miki, President of Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd., discussed the launch of AIR CREATOR, noting that the definition of comfort is clearly evolving as climate, living environments, and consumer values diversify rapidly.

The concept of comfort is no longer limited to a single form but is moving toward an experience that can be designed and tailored to each individual's lifestyle. The core of AIR CREATOR is built on the concept of Personalization—not just cooling a room but offering comprehensive control over air elements.

This includes humidity, wind direction, air purity, and even fragrance, enabling users to naturally and easily create their ideal space in everyday life.


"The idea of conditioning air and space to improve daily living embodies our corporate essence, Perfecting the Air, turning it into tangible value. Daikin aims to deliver this new experience from AIR CREATOR to consumers in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, reinforcing ASEAN as a region of diverse lifestyles where everyone can truly design their own comfort," he said.

The AIR CREATOR brand launch presents comfort through diverse lifestyles, from creating spaces for efficient sleep, concentration during work and hobbies, comfortable exercise areas, to relaxing family time zones. It is divided into four main modes:

Sleep, Fitness, Focus, and Chill-out, with the entire experience interconnected across air conditioners, air purifiers, and models featuring aroma diffusion. The design is simple and stylish, paired with a user-friendly mobile interface to make air control throughout the space easy in daily life.

Additionally, AIR CREATOR products received the 2025 Good Design Award, one of Japan's most prestigious design honors, achieving high evaluations across all categories including exterior design, concept, functionality, and social value from all product lines, such as:


AIR CREATOR AC – Air Conditioner: Features an ultra-slim minimal design at 185 mm thickness, available in dark gray and white, with rounded forms fitting modern homes. It offers three levels of humidity control and monthly energy budget settings to operate efficiently within set energy goals.

AIR CREATOR AD – Air Purifier with Aroma Diffusion: A 2-in-1 unit that purifies air and diffuses scents, offering up to four fragrance options that can be switched according to preference or atmosphere. It uses Double-Method technology including Streamer technology and Active Plasma Ion for optimal air purification.

AIR CREATOR AP – Air Purifier: Provides advanced air purification with Double-Method technology—Streamer technology purifies inside the machine while Active Plasma Ion cleans the surrounding air, effectively removing dust, allergens, bacteria, and unpleasant odors.

Mr. Takayoshi added that the key to these experiences in AIR CREATOR products is the AIR CARD feature, operated via the DAIKIN AIR SELECT mobile app developed by Daikin. It offers an easy-to-use interface and widget functions for direct control from the home screen, allowing users to sync air conditioner and air purifier operations to instantly create the optimal atmosphere with a single tap.

The feature is designed with a Remote-control-less concept to reduce dependence on remotes and simplify air management, integrating sustainability by enabling regular and continuous updates.


This approach supports long-term product use, complemented by efforts to reduce paper usage, such as minimizing printed manuals, and sustainable procurement and manufacturing processes to lessen environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.
