BWG welcomed the Deputy Minister of Industry to visit their comprehensive industrial waste management model, showcasing environmental management innovations aimed at advancing Thailand’s industrial standards toward sustainability.
Sergeant Major Yotsingh Liamlert, Deputy Minister of Industry, stated that after inspecting standards at various factories nationwide, he recognizes that Better World Green Public Company Limited ranks among Thailand's top companies. It maintains high operational standards and has sufficient capacity to efficiently handle industrial waste from different industrial estates. The company holds all proper factory operation licenses, including types 101, 105, and 106, and strictly complies with the Ministry of Industry’s laws under the supervision of the Department of Industrial Works.
"During today’s site visit, I commend the company’s strong capability in managing both hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste. Additionally, the company operates a research and development center that adds value to waste, such as transforming it into odor neutralizers, and maintains an excellent landfill management system. Having visited many sites, I consider this company among the country’s top-tier standards, reliable and stable."
He also praised the company’s dedication in cooperating closely with the Ministry of Industry, the Department of Industrial Works, provincial industry offices, and local agencies, while remaining open to suggestions for continuous organizational improvement.
"What I want to emphasize is that the company should prioritize caring for surrounding communities, maintaining green spaces, and continuously managing wastewater treatment systems. If any shortcomings are found, they should be promptly addressed and updated to strengthen and grow alongside the community."
Sergeant Major Yotsingh added that for over 70,000 industrial factory operators inside and outside industrial estates needing to dispose of toxic or non-toxic industrial waste, Better World Green Public Company Limited is a standard-compliant option that can ease their burdens. In his personal view, he is confident that this company’s high standards make it a pillar of industrial waste management for the ministry and a dependable representative for all operators.
The Ministry of Industry emphasizes balanced coexistence between industry and communities, providing ongoing guidance to enhance environmental management efficiency and minimize impacts on the public. It also promotes local employment support to create jobs and jointly develop the grassroots economy alongside organizations.
Pramot Kanpho, Government Relations Manager of Better World Green Public Company Limited, said the company remains committed to conducting business under international standards and strictly adheres to the Ministry of Industry’s policies.
