Solar PPM Partners with EGAT to Install International Standard Solar Panels for Children

Mr. Kris Pornpilailak, Chairman of Solar PPM Co., Ltd. (SPPM), said that Solar PPM, a leader in solar panel innovation and assembly, reaffirmed its mission as a clean energy leader for society by partnering with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) at Vajiralongkorn Dam to deliver a high-efficiency solar power installation system to Phieng Luang 3 School (Ban Muang Rae E-Tong) in Kanchanaburi Province.

Under the 'One Energy, Creating Hundreds of Learning Opportunities' project (Sharing Energy, Sustainable Future), the initiative aims to solve electricity shortages in remote areas using innovative solar panels crafted by Thai expertise, installing solar systems with 100% Thai-made panels.

Phieng Luang 3 School (Ban Muang Rae E-Tong) is located in a strategically important area but faces energy security issues with insufficient electricity for teaching. Solar PPM, as a solar energy system expert, applied engineering knowledge and production of certified solar panels, integrating with EGAT to install a stable solar power system tailored to local conditions, enabling teachers and students to access modern teaching media and electrical devices without limits.

Solar PPM leads in solar system installation innovation with a professional Thai team and operates a 100% Thai-based manufacturing and assembly plant. For this installation, 610-watt Solar PPM brand panels were used, along with Huawei brand inverters and batteries to store solar energy, ensuring the school has ample power supply.

The handover ceremony involved collaboration from multiple sectors and featured honored guests including Mr. Anusorn Sanga-sang, Chief of Thong Pha Phum District; Mr. Sakon Aksornthanawat, Director of Vajiralongkorn Dam; Dr. Nanpapat Bonticharoenchot, Director of Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3; and Mr. Kittisak Jaipiang, Maintenance Manager of PTT Pipeline and Equipment Operation Section 8.

Also present were executives and staff from EGAT Vajiralongkorn Dam and the Solar PPM team, participating in the ceremony to hand over the solar power installation system to Mr. Apipat Lamyaika-chi, Director of Phieng Luang 3 School (Ban Muang Rae E-Tong), alongside school administrators, teachers, and students to address electricity shortages in this remote area.

Additionally, training was conducted on basic solar system maintenance for school personnel to ensure the system operates efficiently and safely long-term. Solar PPM, along with partners EGAT and PTT, also donated sports equipment, consumer goods, and essential items to encourage the youth in Ban Muang Rae E-Tong.

Solar PPM emphasizes sustainable growth alongside society and will continue supporting clean energy projects to demonstrate that solar energy is not merely a business but a way to create opportunities and equality throughout Thailand.
