Marketing Roundup: Showrai Khid Highlights BT Awards, Emphasizes Role of Thai Innovation Awards

Nui Pongsuk Hiranpruek, founder and CEO of Showrai Khid Co., Ltd., said the aim of The 2nd BT Awards: The Impact Makers was to create a central platform to honor and amplify organizations, individuals, and innovations that not only develop advanced technologies

but also generate positive impacts for people and society. It also aimed to connect networks of cooperation among businesses, government, and innovators to jointly elevate Thailand’s technology ecosystem toward sustainable growth.

The event featured special guests from Thailand’s digital media, technology, and creative sectors who joined the night of innovation and presented awards. Guests included Pa Ted-Yutthana Boon-Om, Dr. Wit Sitthivekin, CK Zheng, and Maprang-Alisa Khunkhuang, reflecting a united force of thought leaders across industries pushing Thai innovation forward.


This year’s The 2nd BT Awards: The Impact Makers used the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework as the main criterion, emphasizing systemic impact

and the potential to scale nationally and globally. A total of 18 awards were presented, consisting of 15 SDGs Awards and 3 special awards. The SDGs Awards results were as follows:

The Tech for Poverty Breakthrough Award went to the "Sod Chuen Sathan & Mobile Laundry" project by Chumanee Co., Ltd., part of K-Nex Corporation Ltd. (Otteri Wash & Dry).

The AgriTech & Food Innovation Award recognized the organization transferring agricultural technology to farmers, by Chia Tai Co., Ltd.

The HealthTech Impact Award was given to the BeDee application by Health Plaza Co., Ltd., part of BDMS, the BeDee by BDMS platform.

The EdTech for All Award was awarded to Thailand Zero Dropout, supporting Thai children who have dropped out of school, by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and partner organizations.

The WaterTech & Sanitation Innovation Award honored the installation of 72 automatic telemetric stations in northern watershed areas of Ping, Wang, Yom, and Nan rivers by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited and the Hydro Informatics Institute (Public Organization).

The Clean Energy Tech Pioneer Award recognized organizations promoting clean energy policies, including the Wind Energy Association (Thailand) and Solis Inverter Thailand.

The Digital Economy & Future Work Award went to FASTWORK, a platform connecting freelancers and clients, by ChangeSea Co., Ltd.

The Smart Industry & Innovation Award was presented to METTRIQ, a smart building management platform by Metthair Co., Ltd.


The Inclusive Tech & Equality Award this year was divided into two awards:

The Most Influential Retailer for Social Equality Award was given to ICON SIAM shopping mall for its policy promoting social equality in the nearby community, by ICON SIAM Co., Ltd.

The Community Empowerment Impact Award went to ONE CHICHAN Khao Chi Chan Pattaya, which creates positive community impact and strengthens local people through employment, by I Am Khao Chi Chan Co., Ltd.

The Smart City Innovator Award was given to THE NEXT PATTAYA project by Pattaya City and Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The Circular Tech & Sustainable Consumption Award was awarded to the Zero Waste, High Benefits project (From Waste to Wealth) by CP Axtra Public Company Limited.

The ClimateTech Action Hero Award recognized Thai Smile Bus and Thai Smile Boat by Thai Smile Bus Co., Ltd.

The BlueTech Ocean Innovation Award honored the solar-powered garbage interception boat by the Interceptor 019 project.

The EcoTech & Land Protection Award was given to The Forestias by MQDC, by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited.

The Global Tech Partnership Award recognized organizations with international technology development collaborations, awarded to Charoen Pokphand Group.

Additionally, three special awards were presented to honor those playing key roles in creating positive ripples in society and Thailand’s innovation sector: the Person of the Year Award to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok; the Honorary Award to the Global Compact Network Thailand; and the BT Popular Vote to Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited for the content "Thai Chicken in Space: What Do Thais Gain?"
