Marketing Roundup: AIA Provides Free Influenza Vaccinations through AIA Sharing A Life

Nikheel Advani, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Thailand, stated that AIA Thailand continues its annual social responsibility project with the 13th AIA Sharing A Life event, themed "Stronger Together" this year. The initiative involves providing 15,000 influenza vaccine doses to strengthen protection against severe illness for people across Thailand, in partnership with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for the second consecutive year.

The vaccines are provided to garbage collection and street sweeping staff across all 50 districts of Bangkok, with expanded support extended to drilling personnel under the Department of Groundwater Resources. These workers are considered high-risk groups as they work in community areas and have increased exposure to infection.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt honored the event by presiding over the opening ceremony of the 13th AIA Sharing A Life at Bangkok City Hall (Din Daeng). Partners also contributed by offering drinking water and snacks to people receiving vaccinations.

Beyond Bangkok, the 13th AIA Sharing A Life also provided free influenza vaccinations in five other provinces—Samut Prakan, Songkhla, Phetchaburi, Chiang Mai, and Nakhon Pathom—targeting vulnerable populations. This was supported by Abbott Laboratories, a global healthcare company.

This activity reflects AIA’s mission to support over a billion people in achieving better health and lives, alongside its commitment to conducting business following ESG principles. As a regional ESG leader in the Asia-Pacific, AIA aims to drive sustainable and quality growth for Thai society under its pledge: 'Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.'

Nikheel Advani expressed great pleasure in supporting the health and well-being of frontline personnel across Bangkok’s 50 districts and the wider public by providing 15,000 influenza vaccine doses. The program also extends nationwide access through the AIA Smart Network to reach our customers.

Particularly, children aged 6 months to 15 years, who are vulnerable and at higher risk of severe influenza symptoms, are vaccinated promptly before the peak outbreak season. This marks an important step toward AIA’s long-term mission of promoting better health and lives, contributing to Thailand’s sustainable and robust development.

Sustainable Thailand Uniqlo (Thailand), in collaboration with the Ratchaphruek Institute Foundation, is advancing environmental education for youth by hosting the second annual UNIQLO PM2.5 Warrior Award. In 2026, ten schools—five from Bangkok and five from Chiang Mai—participate to showcase their creativity and systematic problem-solving skills addressing PM2.5 pollution, aiming for sustainable, community-level solutions.

Debt Relief Coaching TMBThanachart Bank (TTB), together with the Royal Thai Air Force, conducted debt relief coach training for Air Force unit representatives under the Financial Knowledge and Network Enhancement Project. The initiative develops financial advisors within the units to provide effective debt management guidance, aiming to sustainably improve financial quality of life.
