The event showcases the charm of rare Thai cultural traditions and elevates Thailand's Songkran festival to a global festival level under the concept of Splash, Fun, Happiness, and Auspicious Thai Songkran. This is done with cooperation from government partners including

The aim is to deliver a special experience through the Songkran festival, highlighting THAICONIC elements that blend Thai cultural heritage with contemporary entertainment in all dimensions. It gathers icons of Thailand across various facets to coincide with the Thai New Year celebration, from cultural heritage and national symbols

to representatives of the modern era, to honor and preserve the beauty of culture in a colorful Songkran festival filled with pride in national identity. This reinforces ICONSIAM’s image as a Global Experiential Destination — a world-class experience destination.

The grand opening ceremony of ICONSIAM THAICONIC SONGKRAN 2026 was held today, graced by Khun Chotika Akkarakitsophakul, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture; Khun Nithi Siphrae, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT); Mr. Supot Chaiwatt Sirikul, Managing Director of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd.; and government and private partners who joined the opening ceremony.

The ceremony attracted great interest from both Thai and international tourists. The atmosphere was lively with a traditional long drum procession and the song "Mon Teng Mong Songkran Dee Jai," which reflects Thai culture during Songkran—a time of happiness, fun, and new beginnings. The performance featured elegant dance moves blended with lively rhythms, starring the popular duo See - Pruk Panich and Nunew - Chawarin Pherppiriya Wong in a special show.

Furthermore, ICONSIAM offered a THAICONIC Songkran experience that combines Thai cultural heritage with entertainment, allowing everyone to enjoy a comprehensive Songkran celebration.
