Mr. Surin Suntornsanan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, stated that the Thailand Trust Mark (T Mark) project and its associated benefits represent a mark of confidence and transparency—key factors for sustainable growth of Thai products.
Since 2012, the Department has initiated the Thailand Trust Mark to certify that products and services meet excellent quality standards while genuinely upholding social responsibility, labor welfare, and environmental care.
Furthermore, the Department has signed memoranda of understanding with the Ministry of Labor (Labor Standards Development Office) and the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Works) to jointly endorse this quality certification mark.
The event also featured a panel discussion on brand-building strategies to capture the market and value-adding packaging design, with experienced speakers contributing to strengthening entrepreneurs.
Speakers included Dr. Pornpan Promwang, Regional General Manager of Asia Pacific Cosmetics Corporation Ltd. (brand IN2IT), a Thai cosmetics company popular internationally, showcasing how a Thai cosmetics brand can enter the global beauty market with distinct marketing strategies and product quality.
Also presenting was Mr. Chatisilp Chatabut, Manager of Administration/CRM at TPN Food Packaging Co., Ltd., who discussed packaging’s importance not only in enhancing product appeal and attracting consumers but also in extending product shelf life and increasing market value.
He emphasized eco-friendly packaging that aligns with the growing sustainability concerns of consumers. The panel discussion was intense, with over 100 entrepreneurs attending to exchange experiences and success strategies.
Additionally, the Department opened clinics providing in-depth consultations from government and private experts across various fields, including guidance on Thailand Trust Mark certification criteria and procedures at the T Mark Clinic; export and market expansion advice at the DITP 1669 Clinic; support for exhibiting on platforms like Thaitrade.com; and funding and loan guidance at the Exim Bank Clinic.
Other clinics included the Fair Labour and Human Rights Clinics from the Ministry of Labor; CSR implementation guidance at the CSR-DIW Clinic; strategies for advancing toward green industry at the Green Industry Clinic; and packaging consultation at the TPN Food Packaging Clinic, all attracting high entrepreneur participation for consultations.
Over the past 13 years, T Mark has proven to be a crucial force enhancing the competitiveness of more than 900 Thai brands. Moving forward, efforts will intensify to promote the T Mark certification through various domestic and international activities. The Department has showcased T Mark-certified products in overseas roadshows.
Last year, T Mark-certified products were exhibited in seven international locations: four provinces in China (Chengdu, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Kunming), Vietnam, India, and Spain, opening doors for these products to gain consumer recognition worldwide.
The Department also organized promotional activities to raise awareness of T Mark products among Thai consumers and international markets, especially China. In 2026, plans continue to support certified quality Thai products through both domestic and international activities to raise awareness and build consumer trust.
