Marketing Roundup: TAT Advances Festival Database Platform to Elevate Thai Festival Data

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the Festival Database Platform project, which serves as a key mechanism to collect, organize, and systematize a connected database of Thai festivals to support both tourists and tourism operators.

This platform facilitates access to information, communication, and the development of festivals at both local and national levels. It also serves as a critical foundation for creating added economic value, distributing income to communities, and enhancing Thailand's competitiveness internationally.

Additionally, TAT has leveraged the platform’s capabilities to enhance the user experience on the Thailand Festival website, making it easier and more convenient for tourists and users to access festival information with features including:

Sukjai Chatbot AI Travel Assistant, a personalized travel planner that recommends festivals based on users’ interests, budgets, and travel dates.

Festival Calendar, which allows users to view festival schedules throughout the year in advance, helping with travel planning all on a single platform.

The Festival Database Platform reflects TAT’s role in becoming a tourism Intelligence Hub by using data, technology, and creativity as key tools to develop Thailand’s tourism industry in line with digital-era traveler behaviors and to create a more connected tourism ecosystem.

TAT believes the Festival Database Platform will be a vital driver for Thai tourism in 2026 under the Amazing 5 Economy concept, aimed at generating economic value, elevating attractive cities, and promoting Thailand’s unique charm through festivals to the international audience.

The initiative also pushes Thailand toward becoming a fully Data-Driven Tourism Nation by leveraging data, technology, and creativity as engines for sustainable growth, reinforcing the country’s image as a year-round destination with monthly festivals and unforgettable travel experiences.

Committed to Creating Opportunities Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, stated that to reaffirm the company’s business policy focusing on the health and quality of life of Thai people at every stage, alongside conducting business responsibly within the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) framework,

Muang Thai Life Assurance has partnered with the Muang Thai Smile Foundation to advance its social responsibility policy, focusing on creating opportunities and futures for Thai children and youth through the Give and Care project titled "Muang Thai Opens the Field to Fulfill Dreams for Children."

This collaboration involves the Department of Children and Youth (DCY), Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and three leading football clubs—Port FC, Police Tero FC, and Sisaket United FC—bringing youth from care centers to experience professional football matches in real stadiums. This opportunity aims to inspire children by showcasing dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship, benefiting mental health, social learning, and possibly sparking interest in football as a future career.

The activity invited children from three male youth care centers: 1. Maharaj Youth Foundation in Pathum Thani province with 50 children, 2. Pak Kret Male Reception Center in Nonthaburi province with 50 children, and 3. Youth Shelter and Vocational Training Center in Sisaket province with 50 children. They attended matches at the main stadiums of the three clubs—Port FC at Pat Stadium in Bangkok, Police Tero FC at NT Stadium in Nonthaburi, and Sisaket United FC at Srinagarind Lamduan Stadium in Sisaket—during the April 2026 match schedule.

The project launch ceremony was attended by Mrs. Pitaraporn Boonyaratpant, Vice Chairperson of the Muang Thai Smile Foundation; Mr. Pramote Sakgamjon, Senior Deputy Managing Director of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited; Mr. Chaitat Chaijinda, Director of Police Tero FC; and Mr. Jeerawat Janhom, guardian of the Pak Kret Male Reception Center, Department of Children and Youth, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
