The 2026 World Cup tournament is scheduled from 11 June to 19 July 2026. Thairath Group, Thailand Post, and partners are continuing the champion prediction activity through the "Cheer Loud, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere" campaign, inviting the public to join in and fully experience the World Cup atmosphere.
Dr. Danan Supatpan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Thailand Post Company Limited, revealed that Thailand Post has continuously organized World Cup champion prediction activities since 1996, and this will be the 15th time the event is held.
In the digital age, this year the public can participate both via physical postcards and online postcards sold through the Prompt Post and Paotang applications, priced at 3 baht each on both platforms. Prizes worth a total of 12 million baht are up for grabs. Thailand Post expects the campaign to receive strong public response as usual.
Watchara Watcharaphol, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Thairath Online and Thairath TV, stated that as the media partner promoting the "Cheer Loud, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere" campaign through the group's main channels—Thairath TV, Thairath Online, and Thairath Newspaper—this year Thairath and Thailand Post aim to make the campaign more than just a simple contest. It is intended to be a nationwide participatory phenomenon for Thai football fans through comprehensive communication on television, online, social media, and on-ground activities to fully immerse the public in the tournament atmosphere.
"The special feature this year is that the prize draw will occur during the Round of 16, allowing people to participate early in the competition, and then again to predict the champion in the final round. The final prize draw will be held 30 days after the championship match," Watchara said.
The "Cheer Loud, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere" campaign will run from 1 June to 19 July 2026. The public can join via the Prompt Post and Paotang applications as well as at all Thailand Post offices nationwide. Physical postcards must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. on 19 July, while online postcards on the Prompt Post and Paotang apps can be purchased until 11:59 p.m. on 19 July.
