Marketing Roundup: BWG Joins Forces with IEAT to Sign MOU Driving Close Loop Mega Project Model

Better World Green Public Company Limited (BWG) is advancing its leadership in comprehensive industrial waste management by participating in the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding for managing resources from discarded materials using a Close Loop model in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Complex group.

This signing represents an important integrated collaboration between the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and 24 leading national partner companies to jointly drive sustainable resource management.

Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, presided over the opening ceremony of the I-EA-T Fair 2026 “One Mind, One I-EA-T Powering Global Industry” and participated in a discussion with Ms. Melinda Good, Division Director, World Bank Thailand and Myanmar, on the panel titled “Decoding Global Uncertainty: Creating Competitive Advantage for Thailand's Industrial Future.”

The collaboration’s main goal is to apply circular economy and Close Loop resource management concepts as a pilot in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Complex group, focusing on enhancing resource efficiency, reducing waste from production processes, and minimizing environmental impact.

All parties share a commitment to promoting the reuse of discarded materials as an option to generate renewable energy and resources, thereby concretely reducing the volume of waste destined for final disposal.

For this collaboration, Mr. Chaipruk Thongpiam, Manager of the Renewable Energy Center, signed on behalf of Better World Green Public Company Limited, which participates as a Waste Processor. Although located outside the Map Ta Phut Industrial Complex group, BWG possesses advanced technological capabilities to recycle discarded materials into energy, renewable resources, or value-added products aligned with circular economy principles.

Under this MOU framework, Better World Green Public Company Limited will support data on technology potential and capabilities for utilizing, processing, or restoring discarded materials, as well as assist in studying, analyzing, and evaluating the feasibility of using resources from discarded materials from factories within the Map Ta Phut Industrial Complex group.

Additionally, the company is ready to consider participation in pilot projects and studies related to promoting the circular economy to enable efficient resource sharing among industries (Industrial Symbiosis). This collaboration marks a significant step for the company in helping to advance Thailand’s industry to grow sustainably while caring for the environment.
