PalFish Launches Platform for Thai Children to Showcase English Skills and Prepare for the Future

PalFish Thailand hosted the PalFish National English Speech Contest 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani under the theme "Tiny Humans, Big AI World: The AI World Through Children's Perspectives." The event provided Thai children and youth with a platform to develop English skills, practice confident communication, and showcase their potential on a national English speaking stage, supported by the Ministry of Education.

The event featured Dr. Pinya Rattanawarach, Deputy Secretary-General of the Private Education Promotion Commission, representing the Ministry of Education. She delivered opening remarks to the participants and presented awards to outstanding youth performers.

The competition was divided into two age groups: 3–7 years and 8–12 years. Contestants expressed their imagination, thoughts, and views on technology and the future world through English speeches.

For the 3–7 years group, the theme was "My Smart World: If I Could Change One Thing with Technology," encouraging children to imagine a smarter world through technology.

Meanwhile, the 8–12 years group presented ideas under the theme "Our Future with AI: What Kind of World Do I Want to Create?" focusing on their vision for a future shaped by AI.

Both themes reflect the key idea that although technology and artificial intelligence increasingly influence daily life, children and youth remain the thinkers, decision-makers, and future world shapers through their own perspectives and creativity.

The PalFish National English Speech Contest 2026 demonstrated PalFish Thailand's commitment to supporting the development of English skills among Thai children, emphasizing practical use of English, confidence in communication, courage to think and express themselves, and effective opinion sharing.

Additionally, the contest fosters essential future skills for children such as creativity, analytical thinking, communication, and adaptability to global and technological changes. PalFish believes learning English should go beyond memorization to creating opportunities for real-life language use, expression, and confidence, opening doors to new future possibilities.

PalFish congratulated all participating youth and praised their determination, effort, and bravery in stepping onto the competition stage, noting that every speech, thought, and expression marks an important step in their growth.

PalFish is committed to helping Thai children develop English skills through enjoyable, easy-to-understand learning designed for kids, enabling them to communicate confidently and prepare for the future world. The PalFish Class app is available for download on the App Store and Play Store.

/ AirAsia rewards, the membership program under Capital A, launched a new feature called Points Booking. This allows members to redeem AirAsia points for flights by setting a fixed points amount per route, simplifying travel planning compared to the traditional booking system.

The points required fluctuate with ticket prices at the time of booking. Members can use Points Booking to redeem AirAsia flights on any route and flight by booking at least 30 days in advance. To celebrate this launch, AirAsia rewards offers a special promotion of 50% points cashback on bookings made via Points Booking from 7 Sep 2026 to 30 Sep 2026 GMT+7.

Members can redeem AirAsia points for both domestic and international flights, with points covering one-way fares including taxes and fees. For example, Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Chiang Mai starts at 9,000 AirAsia points, approximately 730 baht, and Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Da Nang starts at 28,000 AirAsia points, about 2,266 baht.

Shannon Liu, Head of AirAsia rewards, stated that the program believes in making point redemption easy and valuable. The new Points Booking option helps members plan trips more easily by clearly showing the points needed per destination.

She added that the 50% points cashback promotion until 30 Sep 2026 GMT+7 provides members a greater chance to maximize their AirAsia points usage.

For example, redeeming a Don Mueang–Chiang Mai flight for 9,000 points will earn members 4,500 points back after the campaign ends. Importantly, Points Booking transforms everyday spending points into tangible travel experiences, enhancing value throughout point accumulation.

Points Booking is now available via the AirAsia MOVE app. Members with at least 500 AirAsia points can redeem fares on participating flights with flexible payment options, including full points payment or partial points plus credit card. Members can also transfer points from credit cards or other loyalty programs to AirAsia points to accumulate for flight redemptions.
