Around the Marketing Sector: Thanakorn, TAS Chairman, Named Exemplary Business Person of 2026

Mr. Thanakorn Siriwattanalert, Chairman of T.A.S. Corporation Limited (TAS), said he feels honored and proud to receive the Exemplary Business Person of the Year award. He stated that this award is not just a personal achievement but confirms that the green business model built by T.A.S. Corporation is the right approach and meets the future needs of the country.

In an era where the world is moving towards a low-carbon society, Thailand's construction materials industry is undergoing a significant transformation as a Thai innovation brand rises to become a leader in global technology.

We have been behind the transformation of the thermal insulation and eco-friendly construction materials industry using advanced science and technology. Our success is based on three main pillars: being a role model leader, excellence in organizational management, and proactive strategic growth.

These factors have earned wide recognition, underscoring the success of a new generation leader proving that economic growth and environmental sustainability can progress hand in hand. Additionally, pharmacist Mrs. Nantita Siriwattanalert (Vice Chairwoman) has helped drive these positive developments.

Thanakorn is among the new generation of executives firmly committed to environmental ideals. He rejects short-term profit-driven business models, instead adhering to a Green DNA policy that integrates social responsibility throughout the entire value chain. Moreover, he is dedicated to creating products under the 'Product of Thailand' concept.

He aims to demonstrate on the global stage that Thai intelligence and research skills can produce world-class innovation patents. Furthermore, in social support, Thanakorn has applied company knowledge and products, such as non-toxic thermal insulation panels, to aid in building shelters and field hospitals for disaster victims in various areas, reflecting his genuine leadership in creating societal value.

Importantly, regarding strategic management with a vision of collaborative leadership and shared growth, Thanakorn stands out for leading a business that inspires and values partner networks with a value-driven and collaborative mindset. He has transformed the traditional image of a construction materials factory into an organization of innovation and research — an Open Innovation Engine.

He frequently visits sites to personally share techniques, in-depth knowledge, and green marketing concepts with partners, dealers, and contractors in the network. This has strengthened T.A.S. Corporation's business ecosystem, enabling it to grow steadily despite high competition in the real estate market.

Moreover, the significant recent growth of T.A.S. Corporation stems from a sharp strategic approach, which Thanakorn describes as based on three main strategic pillars:

1. Strategic Location & Partnership: Relocating the office and R&D center to Thailand Science Park has allowed the company to collaborate with top national researchers (NSTDA) and international associations such as the Green World Association. It also established global-standard MOUs with partners like PU Foam and KPX chemical to develop products without limits.

2. Intellectual Property & Commercialization: Transitioning from a contract manufacturer to owning its own innovation patents, with flagship products like TECO PU Foam, an environmentally friendly, ultra-thin thermal insulation (HCFC-Free), and the HERCULES automatic insulation sprayer. These won patents and top invention awards internationally in Geneva, Switzerland, providing sustainable commercial advantages.

3. Eco-Standard Certification: Expanding into mega projects and public companies by obtaining international standards and the Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) certification from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), among the first to do so. This makes the company's products key to partners’ Net Zero policies, driving sales growth beyond targets.

The Exemplary Business Person of 2026 project, organized by the Foundation of the Science and Technology Council of Thailand (FSTCT), held its award ceremony this year, presided over by Air Chief Marshal Chom Rungsawang, Privy Councillor.
