Marketing Highlights: INNOPOWER Partners with EECO to Launch Clean Energy Roadmap

INNOPOWER Company Limited extended its collaboration with the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) by hosting the Clean Energy Roadmap event at DEPA’s Thailand Digital Valley in Chonburi province to enhance clean energy preparedness for industrial operators in the eastern region.

Specifically targeting the automotive, electronics, and data center sectors, the event provided a platform for exchange with experts from RE100 and EnergyTag, two international organizations active in clean energy, to share new directions and key concepts businesses should monitor.

This event is part of the ongoing collaboration under the MOU between INNOPOWER and EECO to build capabilities that help entrepreneurs clearly understand how to adopt clean energy in their operations—from setting carbon reduction goals and sourcing renewable energy to assessing costs and organizational readiness to choose the best approach for their business.

Atip Tantivorawong, Chief Executive Officer of INNOPOWER, said that preparing Thailand’s industries starts with understanding global trends and standards, as partners and supply chains worldwide are increasingly tightening clean energy requirements. INNOPOWER acts as a Decarbonization Partner, connecting knowledge and strategies to practical business applications.

The event aims to empower local industrial operators to recognize market directions, available options, and real-world examples, enabling each organization to evaluate readiness, elevate operations, and confidently set sustainability goals tailored to their business.

A highlight was the participation of RE100 and EnergyTag as keynote speakers, giving Thai operators direct access to international expertise. A key topic was the approach to Round-the-Clock Renewables (RE-RTC), focusing on aligning renewable energy procurement with electricity consumption around the clock.

The discussion also clarified the differences between Hourly Matching and Annual Matching, highlighting a shift from annual overview toward aligning clean energy use with consumption patterns throughout the day.

Beyond international perspectives, INNOPOWER shared its Decarbonization experience, offering business-applicable guidance on renewable energy sourcing, energy efficiency improvements, and selecting cost- and operation-appropriate strategies, illustrating opportunities and challenges.

The event also provided lessons from practical implementation and strengthened operators' awareness of global standards to enhance operations and prepare for energy transitions critical for business success and competitiveness in global markets.

Another key segment was the Decarbonization Clinic, where entrepreneurs brought their own challenges related to costs, data, organizational readiness, and energy sourcing options to collaboratively identify obstacles and necessary preparations for the next steps.

By combining industry understanding with global insights from RE100 and EnergyTag’s expertise in hourly energy tracking, the event helped businesses clarify the clean energy roadmap and apply knowledge and strategies suited to their operations to meet growing clean energy demands impacting competitiveness.
