Mr. Korn Suriyapan, Managing Director of Thepthai Product Co., Ltd., said that throughout 22 years of business—from being an OTOP enterprise to the well-known company it is today—it has not been an easy path. Many difficult decisions were made to elevate the organization.
This included upgrading personnel to grow alongside rising standards, finding competitive strategies to create opportunities, and developing products from simple household items so that everyone could recognize and access them—none of which was easy for us.
Regarding the importance of governance at Thepthai, we focus on three main dimensions: first, employees. We emphasize building strength from within, caring deeply about our personnel’s well-being, as no business can succeed alone. Having dedicated and strong personnel aligned with the organization's goals is essential.
Employee welfare must meet or exceed legal requirements to truly engage and retain staff—a win-win approach. For example, legal benefits, provident fund, bonuses, annual trips, maternity pay, ordination support, monthly rice distribution of 10 kilograms per person, visiting the sick, and support for staff weddings.
We consider everyone as family—just a large family. Regarding consumers, delivering quality products is a top priority. We do not take any risks with product quality, not even one percent.
This also includes communication, education, and consumer inquiry channels that can promptly address questions or concerns, building consumer confidence and continuously developing products to meet their needs.
Lastly, on society and environment, we focus on renewable energy and ESG principles, using clean energy and continuously seeking projects to reduce energy consumption within the organization. Importantly, we chose to locate in Namom District to primarily promote community employment.
Our philosophy is that if every entrepreneur seeks profit increases or cost reductions by establishing themselves in suburban areas, then who will help develop the local people and community? This builds strong communities and society. We also have CSR projects aiding vulnerable groups to improve their living conditions.
As a representative of the organization, I feel proud on behalf of all personnel because this reflects our joint efforts. The award and results guarantee that our goal of building a strong organization alongside a strong society is on the right track.
"We thank the Puey Ungphakorn Institute, Bank of Thailand, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion, and the Thai Bankers’ Association—the four institutions that recognized and jointly selected Thepthai Product Co., Ltd. to receive this year’s Outstanding Governance Award."
Mr. Korn added that he hopes Thepthai will represent all Thai people domestically and abroad. He wants everyone to be proud of Thai products, crafted by Thai hands, that can reach global levels and compete internationally.
/Rebranding/ Mr. Weerapun Angsumalee, Managing Director of Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HMPRO), said that they invested more than 57 million baht to extensively renovate the HomePro Chaeng Wattana branch, elevating the store to a Total Home Solution & Living Experience—more than just a home goods and services center but a space truly designed for living at home.
This renovation goes beyond adding products; it redesigns the experience—from layout and model rooms to lifestyle zones that help customers clearly envision their ideal homes. It integrates comprehensive home goods and services, including consultation, product selection, and professional workmanship from HomePro technicians, aiming for sales not less than 30 million baht per month.
HomePro Chaeng Wattana has been developed to meet the diverse needs of customer groups, including urban residents, working adults, modern families, and seniors, as today the home is not just a resting place but a space for living in all dimensions.
/Social Assistance/ TISCO Group, together with 12 insurance partners, organized the Family First Neon Run 2026 charity event, attracting over 1,500 families to enjoy happiness, fun, and memorable moments under neon lights at Ancient City, Samut Prakan Province.
