The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, is set to open the Thai Halal Pavilion at THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026, held from 26 to 30 May 2026 at Hall 9, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
The Thai Halal Pavilion is part of the 2026 Halal Food Product Image Promotion Project, aiming to raise awareness and confidence in Thai halal food products internationally, adhering to Islamic religious production standards along with global quality and safety benchmarks. Halal food products continue to gain increasing popularity.
This applies to both Muslim consumers and the general public who value production standards and product quality. Visitors to the pavilion will find 19 halal food and beverage business booths from five southern border provinces—Songkhla, Satun, Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat—selected by a committee including the Songkhla Commerce Office, Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC), Prince of Songkla University, and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Organization.
The pavilion showcases various products such as processed fruit items, bird's nest beverages, curry pastes, and snacks. Additionally, a booth from the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand will provide information on Thai halal certification and standards to build understanding and confidence among buyers, importers, and visitors worldwide.
There will also be halal food demonstrations and tastings by four nationally recognized celebrity chefs: Chef Bang Anas, Chef Yis, Chef Fan, and Chef Otto, who will showcase the charm and diversity of Thai halal cuisine through creative menus throughout the event.
The Thai Halal Pavilion at THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 reflects the Department of International Trade Promotion’s role in fostering sustainable growth of Thailand's halal food industry. It aims to create trade opportunities and expand business networks for Thai entrepreneurs, especially from the five southern border provinces, into international markets, strengthening Thailand’s reputation as a global source of quality halal food.
