Marketing Roundup: ICONSIAM Reports 15% Traffic Increase in First Five Months of 2026

Ms. Suma Wongphan, Senior Vice President of Marketing Promotion at ICONSIAM Company Limited, stated that amid ongoing economic uncertainties, consumers today no longer seek just discounts but place greater importance on overall value for money in their spending. This includes tangible benefits, convenience, and experiences that match their lifestyles, leading to a shift from buying merely to satisfy needs toward more rational spending decisions.

ICONSIAM has reinforced its status as a Global Experiential Destination for tourists worldwide, reporting a 15% increase in traffic during the first five months compared to last year despite economic challenges. This success is largely supported by Thai customers, especially families with children, who are spending more time and money within the mall. While Thailand's overall tourism faces various challenges, international visitor numbers to ICONSIAM have continued to grow steadily over the same period.

Compared to last year, traffic rose by 15%, with the top five visitor nationalities being China, India, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. This reflects ICONSIAM's role as a key destination for quality tourists from around the world and as a major driver of the country's retail and tourism economy.

"Today's promotions are not just about discounts; they must truly deliver value return to customers through rewards, benefits, and experiences that fit daily life. BIG BANG SALE 2026 is designed under the concept of 'value level-up' to ensure every spending returns multiple forms of value," she explained.

For ICONSIAM BIG BANG SALE 2026, ONESIAM members will enjoy six levels of value benefits, including discounts up to 80%, SIAM Gift Card returns of up to 13,850 baht per day, and an additional 13,850 ONESIAM COINS. There are also perks for new members, reward-focused shoppers, and credit card partnerships to enhance spending convenience, making this campaign more than just a sales promotion.

Furthermore, BIG BANG SALE 2026 highlights ICONSIAM and ICS's role as economic drivers for retail and tourism mid-year by motivating Thai consumers and tourists to increase spending while elevating the shopping experience to meet new consumer behaviors.

The ICONSIAM BIG BANG SALE 2026 campaign offers ONESIAM members an upgraded experience with increasingly valuable benefits, delivering six levels of value between 12 June and 29 July 2026.
