Mr. Sompong Chuenkitiyanon, CEO of Business Alignment Public Company Limited (BIZ), said that over the past 26 years, BIZ's mission has been to bring quality medical technology to support the advancement of Thailand's public health system. Today, we continue to move forward with that original commitment.
However, we have expanded that knowledge from disease treatment to promoting preventive health care. We do not only aim to launch a new brand but hope to be part of creating a new conversation about health care that starts with understanding one's own body and helps Thai people make appropriate health decisions throughout all stages of life.
BIZ has conducted business in medical technology and has helped introduce modern cancer treatment technologies to Thailand, including radiation therapy machines, treatment planning systems, image-guided systems, and has continuously pushed for the country's first Proton Therapy project in collaboration with hospitals and medical personnel. This health symposium reflects BIZ's intention to create a platform for knowledge exchange among medical staff, researchers, and experts from various disciplines to support understanding of Precision Health in Thailand.
Recently, we organized Medical Symposium 2026, a platform for sharing health knowledge featuring distinguished experts from diverse fields who shared insights on the future direction of Precision Health and health care, such as Dr. Mas Maiprasert, who shared experiences in anti-aging medicine and holistic health care, and Dr. Thisara Weerasamai, who presented concepts of Precision Health in personalized care.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ek Pattharatanakul shared perspectives on consumer behavior and health market trends in the new era, along with Lena Wallace, Director of Research & Commercial Partnerships at TruDiagnostic in the United States, who contributed knowledge about biological age assessment and the application of epigenetics data in health studies.
The key takeaway from Medical Symposium 2026 focused on the contemporary question of how to care for health in a way that suits our bodies, rather than just how to treat illness when it occurs. This marks the beginning of a significant shift in global health perspectives.
Experts point out that people today pay more attention to their health data, including genetic information (DNA), gene expression (epigenetics), and lifestyle data. However, people seek not only test results but also guidance on how to appropriately apply that information in daily life.
These factors are driving a further shift in health concepts—from treating diseases after onset to emphasizing preventive health care and understanding individual differences to enable appropriate health planning from an early stage.
Furthermore, nutritional knowledge is crucial, considering the body's rhythms throughout the day. It offers an additional approach for those interested in holistic health care, alongside a varied and balanced diet, exercise, adequate rest, and a suitable lifestyle.
At the event, BIZGENES was also launched as a brand specializing in Precision Health & Longevity Solutions, aiming to connect health science, technology, and personalized health data to support data-driven daily health care. This comes with The Vitality Collection, products developed based on DNA Insight concepts and grounded in nutrition and science under the Science-Based Nutrition approach for modern health.
