Alexandre Umbel, CEO of CRC Sport Company Limited under Central Retail, said that reaching the 29th year marks an important milestone for Supersports in driving the business under the concept of Move to A New Height. The company aims to evolve from a sports retail store into a Sports Destination that meets the needs of sports enthusiasts in every aspect, creating an Integrated Sports Ecosystem linking products, services, content, sports activities, technology, and the Sports Community to provide customers with a seamless experience.
The company continues to expand its portfolio of leading brands covering both Performance and Lifestyle segments, while enhancing customer experience in-store, through technology, and via Omnichannel platforms. Supersports is developing and expanding its branches nationwide to become a comprehensive Sports Destination, serving as a center for products, experiences, and sports activities, aiming to elevate the standards of Thailand’s sports retail sector to ASEAN leadership.
Wiyada Buranapakorn, Senior Assistant Managing Director of Marketing at CRC Sport Company Limited under Central Retail, added that over the years, Supersports has focused not only on sales growth but also on brand building and long-term consumer relationships. Its marketing is driven by the Move to A New Height vision, aiming to transform every customer touchpoint into part of the Sports Ecosystem.
This includes inspiring customers through content, product selection in stores and Omnichannel channels, participation in sports activities, and being part of the Sports Community, because marketing today is not only about generating sales but also about creating experiences, fostering brand loyalty, and building a growing community.
At the same time, the company pushes forward its Sustainability concept through ongoing sports activities and social projects such as the Supersports 10 Mile Run and the May Move Up campaign, which donates sports shoes to children in underprivileged schools in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, and Chaiyaphum under the Central Tham project. They emphasize reducing environmental impact by minimizing plastic use and choosing eco-friendly materials in all activities, maintaining the Green Event concept – Supersports Move the Change in Society, Re-Balance the World – in every event process.
To reduce environmental impact, one concrete achievement was the Supersports 10 Mile Run 2026 presented by Under Armour, which sorted 1,772.60 kilograms of waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 825.01 kgCO₂e. Plastic PET bottles were sent to the 'Empty Bottles Not Wasted' project under the Central Group campaign, to be recycled into blankets and distributed to cold areas in remote regions.
"For 2026, we see a significant shift in consumer behavior, especially among the New Generation, so we have created a new momentum by refreshing the brand under the concept 'Make Every Move a Sport, Your Own Definition.' This makes sports more accessible and relatable to everyone through marketing strategies aimed at establishing Thailand’s central Sports Community and inspiring people to enjoy movement in their own way," he said.
