Inside Marketing: Experience Your Third Home at White Cloud Ari in the Heart of Ari

Mr. Teerachai Mangkonkanok, project manager of White Cloud Ari, said the key concept is to create a Third Place that serves as a third home beyond one’s house and workplace. The aim is to provide a space where everyone can relax, reflect, or engage in desired activities freely.

Especially in the increasingly vibrant Ari neighborhood, the project seeks to offer a place where people can escape the rush and reconnect with themselves.

White Cloud Ari began by redeveloping an original house favored by the project executives, preserving as much of the original structure and materials as possible, then blending in modern elements to create a distinctive Community Space suited to modern lifestyles.

White Cloud Ari defines itself with three key words: Escape, Community, and Vibe. ‘Escape’ does not mean fleeing from people but rather coming to relax and spend time as one wishes.

‘Community’ reflects building a space where people and shops participate together to form a community, while ‘Vibe’ represents the experience and atmosphere the project wants visitors to feel.

Regarding design, the project intends to surprise visitors from their very first step. The main entrance resembles a tunnel that opens into a spacious, airy area with double-height ceilings, natural light, and greenery, creating a relaxing and free feeling.

One favorite area of the executives is the Social Hall, featuring a large staircase, natural light, and green spaces, evoking the feeling of sitting in a backyard, usable for relaxation or various activities.

Activities within the project align with the Third Place concept, focusing on accessible, casual events that encourage people to spend time together. Activities also arise from collaboration among shops and entrepreneurs inside, akin to inviting friends over, fostering a friendly atmosphere and community through everyone’s participation.

The shops inside White Cloud Ari are about 80% Food and Beverage, and the rest are lifestyle shops and services such as clinics, nail and eyelash salons, watch shops, florists, and other businesses. The project carefully selects shops with unique stories and identities to enhance the overall experience and ambiance.

White Cloud Ari is open to people of all ages. Although the main target is Gen Y and older, it does not exclude Gen Z or teenagers. The space is designed with photo and check-in spots and diverse shop areas catering to various lifestyles, welcoming visitors of all genders and ages.

Amid economic challenges, White Cloud Ari’s management emphasizes the customer experience as central. They believe that if customers have a positive and impressive experience, they will return. Meanwhile, shops must maintain product and service quality and price appropriately to match the experience, ensuring customer satisfaction, repeat visits, sustainable business, and ultimately growth alongside the entrepreneurs.

Another strength is the provision of parking spaces accommodating about 70–80 cars across three locations. If demand grows, a Valley Parking system can be implemented to manage parking efficiently.

White Cloud Ari also aims to build community by collaborating with shops and local people, planning ongoing activities involving shops, community members, and external networks. The space is not just for buying goods and services but a place for people to meet, exchange, and share experiences together.

One participating shop is Dryft Bar, a cocktail bar that adapts the project’s concept to the space. Mr. Panupong Wiriyapongsukit, the operator, has bartending experience in Boston and chose Ari for its location and because the project’s concept aligns with the bar’s aim to make customers feel like they are relaxing and hanging out at a friend’s home.

Another is 28 Square, a premium coffee shop offering coffee, tea, and homemade bakery. The space is designed for relaxation, work, or socializing with friends. Ms. Siripha Luekhachonsin believes White Cloud Ari’s atmosphere matches the shop’s concept of being a leisure space for customers.

Another addition to the food and beverage experience is “Fong Ranjawan,” which considers its space as a “reception room inside a home,” offering a new style of Thai cuisine called Neo Thai Cuisine with carefully selected high-end drinks from around the world to create a unique dining experience in Ari. Chef Tong, Mr. Yutthachak Sangsastra, views White Cloud Ari’s location as ideal for its community surroundings, accessibility, and parking facilities.

Mr. Teerachai concluded that White Cloud Ari wants people to come and experience the space without needing a specific purpose. Whether working, meeting, relaxing, socializing, organizing activities, or spending private time, the space can accommodate various activities, from social gatherings and flower arranging

to family and children’s activities. They hope each visit will let people discover new favorite spots or gain fresh inspiration. White Cloud Ari does not position itself merely as a new Community Space in Ari,

but as a third home open to everyone—a place to relax, connect with the community, and spend time as they wish. It will continue to create activities and new experiences with shops and community members to foster a living, growing community alongside Ari in the long term.
