Continuing Trust Mr. Phiphat Assamongkol, Assistant Managing Director of Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, signed a contract with Mr. Chuchat Pramulpol, Secretary-General of the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), appointing Bangkok Bank as custodian of the OIC’s assets. This includes overseeing insurance assets and reserves for 36 months, from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2029.
Witnesses to the signing included Ms. Pojanee Khongkalai, Assistant Managing Director, Retail Banking; Mr. Thapana Aksornnan, Assistant Managing Director, Operations Support and Securities Services Manager at Bangkok Bank; along with Mr. Apakorn Panlert, Deputy Secretary-General; and Mrs. Mayurin Sutthiratpan, Special Expert at the OIC.
The OIC is a government agency responsible for overseeing and safeguarding assets and reserves of life and non-life insurance companies nationwide. Currently, the assets under custody exceed 850 billion baht. Since 2015, spanning 11 years to date,
