They have recently received an official Digital Asset Custodial Wallet Provider license from the Ministry of Finance, under the supervision of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Kryptodian Thailand has operated in digital asset infrastructure since 2021, developing its own Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to meet institutional security standards, reduce reliance on foreign infrastructure or providers, and enhance service flexibility to align with Thai market regulations and conditions.
The Kryptodian Thailand platform covers digital asset custody services via Cold Wallet Custody systems, along with governance and risk management tools such as Know Your Transaction (KYT), Travel Rule compliance, AML/CFT/CPF measures, and clearly defined transaction approval rights and segregation of duties to strengthen internal controls.
At the core is MPC technology, which splits digital keys into multiple key shares without consolidating all keys at a single point, reducing the risk of single points of failure. Assets are held in segregated, auditable accounts, supported by a Transfer Engine that sets transaction limits, authorized destination wallets, and requires multi-party approval (quorum co-signing).
Additionally, the Emergency Recovery System (ERS) allows clients to control asset recovery processes themselves. Developed in partnership with Secure D, a comprehensive cybersecurity service and consulting provider, this Recovery as a Service option enhances business continuity even if normal access to providers is disrupted.
As a licensed digital asset custodian in Thailand, Kryptodian Thailand enables institutions to manage asset custody within Thai legal and regulatory frameworks, reducing complexities related to jurisdictional constraints and cross-border asset transfers. The platform also supports white-label services, enabling partners to rapidly develop products, with capital and risk management requirements aligned with relevant regulatory standards.
