Mr. Jakkrit Santiratnakul, Managing Director of Sah Ocha Co., Ltd. under the Sahapat Group, revealed that the company is steadily expanding its food business portfolio through a strategic partnership with Reins International, Japan, a subsidiary of the Colowide Group, a global leader in the restaurant business. The collaboration, structured as a joint venture, aims to elevate and expand Japanese restaurant operations in Thailand. Most recently, they opened a new branch of the Japanese Yakiniku restaurant Gyukaku at KINGSQUARE Community Mall in the heart of the Rama 3 district.
This partnership operates through Sah Ocha Co., Ltd., which has jointly invested with Reins International, Japan, to establish Reins Sahapat (Thailand) Co., Ltd. This company manages Japanese restaurants including Gyukaku Yakiniku and On Yasai Shabu Shabu, with over 10 years of experience running these businesses in Thailand and a steadily growing customer base.
“With this investment, the joint venture company will oversee operations of the existing three branches: Thaniya Silom, Siam Square One, and Singha Complex. Additionally, it will launch a new branch at KINGSQUARE Community Mall in the heart of Rama 3, marking the fourth location. This represents a new phase in business expansion under the concept of developing the brand to meet consumer demands for quality, value, and unique experiences.”
Mr. Kota Sumikawa, CEO of Reins International, Japan, stated that Thailand is one of the highest-potential markets for Japanese food businesses. The partnership with Sahapat Group is a key factor enabling the Gyukaku brand to expand its business steadily in Thailand.
