
The Board of Directors of the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations (FETCO) has resolved to appoint Mr. Paiboon Nalintrangkul as Chairman, succeeding Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool whose term is ending. The appointment is for a two-year term from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2028.
Mr. Paiboon Nalintrangkul has long-standing experience and expertise in finance and capital markets. He has held key positions both domestically and regionally, including Chairman of FETCO during 2010-2014 and 2018-2022, and Chairman of the Asian Federation of Investment Analysts Societies from 2016 to 2019.
He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of TISCO Securities Company Limited and President of the Investment Analysts Association. He also plays a role in providing economic and capital market policy advice through positions as board member, advisor, and expert for government agencies and organizations in the capital market sector.
Mr. Paiboon Nalintrangkul holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Indiana University (Kelley School of Business), USA, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Cruz, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from the CFA Institute, USA, and has completed executive training courses at several leading institutions.
About the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations
FETCO was established in 2004 through collaboration among related organizations in Thailand's capital market. It serves as the representative body of capital market organizations in Thailand to help define the vision for developing the Thai capital market.
It also acts as a crucial mechanism to drive policy cooperation between the public and private sectors. Currently, it has seven member organizations: the Thai Securities Companies Association, the Thai Listed Companies Association, the Investment Management Association, the Investment Analysts Association, the Thai Investors Association, the Thai Bond Market Association, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
