Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) offer investors a way to earn income from real estate without purchasing buildings or land themselves. They provide an accessible investment vehicle for property-based returns.
REITs pool investor funds to acquire or lease assets such as shopping malls, hotels, warehouses, or exhibition centers, generating rental income that is distributed as dividends to unit holders. Thus, investors gain returns both from periodic dividends and from unit price changes driven by market dynamics.
