Meanwhile, gold ornaments are bought at 64,293.56 baht and sold at 66,600.00 baht per baht-weight. Check today's gold prices as follows.
Gold price for 1 baht-weight. Based on gold weight: a 1-baht gold bar weighs 15.244 grams, and a 1-baht gold ornament weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salung. Also called 50 satang gold, buying and selling prices are based on the following gold weights: gold bar 2 salung weighs 7.622 grams, and gold ornament 2 salung weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salung. Buying and selling prices are based on gold weights as follows: gold bar 1 salung weighs 3.811 grams, and gold ornament 1 salung weighs 3.79 grams.
Gold price for half salung. Buying and selling prices are based on gold weights as follows: gold bar half salung weighs 1.905 grams, and gold ornament half salung weighs 1.89 grams.
However, these prices do not include making charges and may change as per the Gold Traders Association's announcements. Please check with gold shop staff again.
