The gold investment market is expanding its access channels to investors through digital platforms. Recently, HUA SENG HENG partnered with Kasikornbank to launch real-time gold trading services on the K PLUS application, supporting both 99.99% and 96.5% purity gold. Investments start from 10 US dollars with no trading fees.
This move reflects the competition among gold service providers to broaden investment access through platforms commonly used in daily life, especially as gold gains attention as a key asset for diversification.
“Thanarat Pasawong,” CEO of HUA SENG HENG Group, said that gold investment today has changed from the past. Investors seek options that offer convenience, security, and diversity. This has driven the company to develop services and collaborate with partners that have both technology and customer bases to expand access to gold investment services.
For the newly launched service, customers can open a foreign currency deposit account called “K PLUS Global Savings” via K PLUS to exchange currency and buy or sell gold online in real time within a single app. Both 99.99% and 96.5% gold are supported, with prices and exchange rates referenced from HUA SENG HENG.
Additionally, US dollars held in the account while awaiting investment opportunities can earn deposit interest up to 2.25% per year*. Investors wishing to accumulate gold in Thai baht can still choose to invest in 96.5% gold via dollar-cost averaging and can withdraw physical gold at any HUA SENG HENG branch or have it delivered nationwide by Thailand Post, with loss protection included.
Thanarat said this collaboration marks another step in expanding gold investment channels through digital platforms and linking online services with offline physical gold receipt options, allowing customers to choose investment and service methods according to their needs.
