KBank Reports H1 2026 Net Profit of 27.9 Billion Baht, Up 6.22% YoY, Other Income Jumps 29.81%

KBank reported a Q2 2026 net profit of 13.247 billion baht, a 9.68% decrease from the previous quarter due to the lack of one-time compensation income from investment valuation. For H1 2026, net profit grew 6.22% year-on-year to 27.915 billion baht, supported by a 29.81% rise in non-interest income.

Kattiya Indaravijaya, Chief Executive Officer of KBank, disclosed the Q2 2026 results, stating the bank and its subsidiaries recorded a net profit attributable to the bank of 13.247 billion baht, down 9.68% quarter-on-quarter due to the absence of one-time investment valuation compensation income. Excluding this, net profit declined slightly by 0.98% QoQ.

For the first half of 2026, the bank posted a net profit of 27.915 billion baht, an increase of 1.635 billion baht or 6.22% YoY. Excluding the one-time investment valuation compensation income of 1.455 billion baht, the net profit attributable to the bank was 26.609 billion baht, up 1.25% YoY.

Net interest income stood at 63.390 billion baht, down 9.55% YoY, reflecting a declining interest rate trend that resulted in a net interest margin (NIM) of 2.91%. Meanwhile, non-interest income rose driven by improved wealth management services, investment income, and insurance management.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, the Thai economy is expected to recover, supported by domestic spending boosted by government measures. However, overall growth for 2026 may slow compared to the previous year due to ongoing uncertainties from the Middle East situation, which has caused volatility and sustained high levels in global energy prices.

Additionally, Thailand faces challenges such as the impact of U.S. tax policies, developments in the El Niño phenomenon, and constraints in public expenditure disbursement and effectiveness.

Therefore, the bank will continue to operate cautiously amid high economic uncertainty by closely monitoring and assessing conditions to manage risks and adjust strategies and operational plans promptly. It will pursue its 3+1 strategy and productivity initiatives while supporting customers through uncertain times and fully backing government policies.

The H1 2026 performance compared to H1 2025 includes the following key details:
