The dividend season for Thai commercial banks is approaching again, as listed companies in the financial and banking sector announce board approvals to pay dividends from their first-half 2026 performance (1 Jan–30 Jun 2026) to shareholders. The XD dates, when buyers of shares no longer qualify for this dividend round, are set from 4 to 11 September 2026.
Investors who wish to receive dividends this round must "purchase shares before the XD date," because the stock exchange regulations stipulate that only shareholders holding shares before the XD date are entitled to the dividend payment.
If shares are bought on or after the XD date, the buyer will not receive dividends for this period. Therefore, the XD schedule of each bank is crucial information for dividend-focused investors.

Investors interested in receiving dividends this round should plan to buy shares before each company’s XD date. They should also consider other fundamental factors such as earnings outlook, interest rate trends, and the risk of share price declines typically occurring on the XD date in line with the dividend value paid out.
