
During the time when our fellow citizens in "Hat Yai" and "Southern Thailand" face a catastrophic flood, with waters surging in a crisis unseen in 300 years, timely assistance serves as the "critical heart of healing" and a "source of hope" to help sustain and restore the morale of the people in Hat Yai and the southern region, enabling them to stand strong once more.
In this difficult period, both government and private sectors—especially product brands and retailers—have clearly demonstrated their corporate social responsibility (CSR) by uniting to provide timely relief. They have mobilized resources including essential consumer goods and financial aid, such as
1. Betagro delivered 60,000 eggs and 900 kilograms of chicken meat to three flood relief centers: Songkhla University Shelter, Sanan Rong Camp Disaster Relief Center, and the Rat Phum Flood Relief Center in Songkhla Province.
They also donated 1,000 bags of dog and cat food to the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Songkhla University, the Provincial Livestock Office, and Phatthalung Municipality, as well as through the Good Deeds Foundation led by Panadda Wongpudi.
2. Samsung offered free post-flood customer care services including inspection and repair for Samsung smartphones and appliances damaged by flooding, waiving parts charges for smartphones to reduce customer expenses, providing loaner smartphones during repairs, and a 50% discount on appliance parts. They also collected Power Banks and charging cables through media partners in the "Thank Press" campaign, with employees and partners nationwide forwarding them to the government and the Air Force for direct distribution to flood victims.
Additionally, Samsung donated survival kits and essentials such as drinking water, infant formula, and household appliances including washers, dryers, stoves, and microwaves to evacuation and temporary shelters. They partnered with distributors in the South to offer free laundry and drying services.
3. Central Shopping Centers nationwide opened donation points under the campaign 'Thailand United at Central' to support and send encouragement to those affected by southern floods.
Along with Central Retail and its affiliated businesses—Central Department Store, Robinson Department Store, Super Sports, Central Marketing Group, Tops, Go Wholesale, Thai Watsadu, Auto One, Power Buy, OfficeMate, B2S, and Robinson Lifestyle—they prepared over 10,000 relief kits valued at more than 5 million baht. These kits included dry food, water, and essential daily items, transported in caravans from Tops and Go Wholesale to the Air Force Museum at Don Mueang Airport for urgent delivery to Hat Yai residents.
Meanwhile, Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center under Central Retail continued efforts to assist flood victims in the South, working with government agencies to provide prompt aid. They prepared 1,000 survival kits containing necessities for daily living and post-flood recovery, valued at over 500,000 baht, for distribution to affected individuals.
4. Suriya Coffin Co. delivered 600 body bags urgently to Hat Yai through the National Institute for Emergency Medicine.
5. Mr. D.I.Y. donated essential consumer goods and survival kit supplies including flashlights, headlamps, batteries, towels, toothbrushes, tissues, picnic mats, and garbage bags, totaling over 56,000 items worth more than 2 million baht.
6. MC Group donated 2,000 units of Mc Jeans products to assist flood victims in the South.
7. Laundry Bar collaborated with Fineline to open clothing donation points, inviting Thai people to participate in "wash and dry" initiatives, delivering items to the Mirror Foundation to extend care to flood victims under the concept "We Do Not Abandon Each Other."
8. CP Axtra operator of wholesale and retail chains Makro and Lotus sent volunteer staff to Hat Yai, Songkhla, distributing survival kits, essential goods, and urgent supplies. They also supported post-flood recovery by helping clean affected shops and work areas.
9. Ruay Mai Yud Group donated 300 tiger milk tea-shaped pillows to Chulalongkorn University’s Friends in Need Foundation and Channel 7's Southern Flood Relief project.
10. Siam Piwat Group owners and managers of Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and partners of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok opened a central donation hub for consumer goods to send support and help alleviate hardships for those affected by the southern floods.
11. Suntory PepsiCo donated a total of 27,000 bottles of Aquafina drinking water to assist victims through seven agencies and shelters in Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces.
12. GWM offered a 30% discount on labor and parts (excluding batteries, tires, and accessories) to all GWM vehicle owners whose cars were damaged by flooding, to ease maintenance and repair costs from 24 November to 31 December 2025.
* This discount applies only to GWM customers paying out-of-pocket (excluding insurance-covered cases), is non-exchangeable for cash, and valid only at authorized GWM service centers and parts sold by these centers.
13. Fujifilm Foundation supported the Mirror Foundation’s efforts to assist southern flood victims with a donation of 500,000 baht.
14. MK Restaurant Group in partnership with Pa Tong Kum Foundation, delivered essential ingredients such as eggs, rice, steamed buns, pork, beef, various fresh vegetables, cooking oil, and mineral water from MK Restaurant, Bonus Suki, Yayoi, and Laem Charoen Seafood to the Royal Kitchen vehicles at the 42nd Army Circle in Songkhla to prepare meals for flood victims.
They also prepared ongoing support for neighboring flood-affected provinces like Pattani and Yala, aiming to alleviate hardships for residents and frontline workers, with total contributions exceeding 3 million baht.
15. Honda offered a 30% parts discount to ease burdens, with expert technicians ready to provide attentive service at Honda car service centers in affected areas after floodwaters recede.
16. Abhaibhubejhr Herbal Medicine continued distributing preventive and treatment medicines for leptospirosis and athlete's foot to residents in flood-affected zones.
17. Tao Bin increased large vehicle deployments to deliver essential supplies such as clean water, medicine, and food to accessible areas and shelters, added boats to transport survival goods to locations unreachable by large vehicles, replenished free ingredient supplies at Tao Bin vending machines in Trang, Satun, Pattani, Yala, Songkhla, and Hat Yai districts, and contributed 5% of sales from every cup to aid flood victims.
18. Suki Teenoi opened a mobile central kitchen in Hat Yai for the first time, mobilizing staff from Tee Noi Curry Rice to prepare and distribute food to those in distress.
19. TCP Business Group donated a total of 1,000 cases of beverages from brands including Krating Daeng, Ready, Sponsor, and Puriku through the Border Patrol Police Region 4 and the 4th Army Region at Sanan Rong Camp. They also provided 300 food boxes to distribute to affected residents and frontline workers in Hat Yai, Songkhla.
20. Grab facilitated donations and aid delivery for those impacted by floods in the region by offering a 50% discount on GrabExpress nationwide for sending donated items, and a 15% discount on Grab rides within southern provinces including Hat Yai, Satun, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala, and Pattani. Discounts apply to all Grab services available in those areas.
21. Hatthip accepted donations of cleaning equipment and arranged trucks to transport collected items to their Hat Yai office for further distribution. Donations can be brought to 36/6 Soi Ramkhamhaeng 21 (Nawasi), Intersection 5, Plubpla Subdistrict, Wang Thonglang District, Bangkok.
22. Watsons donated 1,000 survival kits containing essential items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, pain relievers, tissues, dry food, and over 4,600 bottles of drinking water, delivered directly to those in need.
28. Gold Mint Products Co., Ltd. manufacturer and distributor of Poy-Sian inhalers donated Poy-Sian inhalers, P-Pepex inhalers, and Poy-Sian peppermint oil to alleviate the flood impact in Hat Yai and nearby areas, with Thai Airways providing free transportation of the products to Hat Yai Airport.
29. Thai Watsadu donated survival kits, trash bins, and cleaning equipment to support recovery in affected areas through government agencies in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, including Wing 56, Koh Hong Police Station, and the 42nd Army Circle Command, ensuring aid reaches the public comprehensively and promptly.
30. CJ More showed solidarity with southern flood victims by encouraging Sabai Card members to donate reward points to Songkhla Hospital Foundation, where every 10 points equals one baht. Donations start at one point, with CJ More matching donations one-to-one.
31. PTT deployed PTT Group SEALs to drain floodwaters from the underground parking of Hat Yai Hospital and partnered with OR to offer free engine oil changes for 2,500 motorcycles and 500 cars.
32. PTG provided liquefied petroleum gas to kitchens for cooking, along with coffee trucks serving cold drinks to refresh medical personnel.
33. Thailand Post utilized its Digital Post ID (D/ID) system to support flood relief across multiple southern provinces by precisely locating victims to enhance rescue efficiency. Collaborating with partners, Thailand Post dispatched convoys carrying survival kits to seven southern provinces and opened donation channels for agencies and foundations to contribute relief goods.
The flood-affected areas include seven provinces: Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, and Pattani, covering 66 districts, 316 subdistricts, and 2,258 villages, impacting over 239,699 households. The "Delivering Compassion to Help Southern Flood Victims" project especially focuses on Hat Yai District, Songkhla, which has suffered severe rainfall and multiple flood points, causing widespread distress and urgent aid needs.
34. SC Asset donated essential consumer goods and cleaning supplies to support recovery efforts through the Mirror Foundation at their donation warehouse.
35. CP RAM - Chef Cares - CP Volunteers rapidly transported ready-to-eat meals and Le Pain bakery products by helicopter to patients, medical staff, and flood victims in Hat Yai District, Songkhla, to alleviate hardships from the severe flooding.
36. Sansiri Plus Property and affiliated companies, along with their employees, contributed 420,574.88 baht and prepared essential supplies delivered to affected areas through the Ejan Foundation, a key coordinating agency for relief efforts.
37. Thai Namthip Coca-Cola donated one million baht to Songkhla Hospital to support relief operations and collaborated with various organizations to supply Namthip drinking water for inclusion in survival kits.
38. LINE MAN Wongnai helped reduce expenses by suspending installment payments and waiving fees for merchants in Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Satun, Yala, Pattani, and Trang provinces from 25 to 30 November 2025. This applied to LINE MAN advertising credit packages and LINE MAN installment program products (including goods and gold). During the suspension, installment payments were not counted toward billing cycles and resumed on 1 December 2025.
They also waived daily service fees for Wongnai POS from 25 November to 8 December 2025 and monthly EDC device fees in November 2025 if transaction thresholds were not met. Support was extended to affected rider families as well.
39. Unilever participated in the government’s "United Thai for Southern Recovery" project by offering discounted essential consumer products and donating over 360,000 items valued at more than 17 million baht.
40. AssetWise X TITLE management and staff packaged survival kits and essential items to aid residents in Hat Yai District, Songkhla, and nearby flood-affected areas.
. Pruksa in collaboration with Pearl Bangkok building, united efforts inviting employees and the public to donate essential daily items to the Paweena Foundation for flood relief in the South.
42. Banpu Public Company Limited stands alongside Thai people in crisis through the "Banpu United to Help Southern Flood Victims" campaign, assisting flood victims in the South, visiting employees’ families and those affected, and allocating a budget of 2 million baht to alleviate hardships and contribute to community recovery toward normal life.
43. Brother advanced plans to assist and rehabilitate over 10,000 flood victims in the South by offering free equipment repairs covering nine provinces and providing financial support to employees whose homes were damaged.
44. CardX implemented additional measures to support customers severely impacted by southern floods, promoting rapid financial recovery.
Card X Co., Ltd., a credit card and personal loan provider under SCB X Group, announced enhanced support measures for customers gravely affected by the southern flood crisis, especially in Songkhla Province, declared a level 4 disaster area due to monsoon impacts and volatile weather. This has broadly affected property, livelihoods, and financial liquidity.
CardX recognizes the urgent distress of affected customers and reaffirms its commitment to stand by them, supporting recovery and swift return to normal life. The company introduced additional relief measures aligned with the Bank of Thailand’s guidelines to precisely ease financial burdens, covering credit cards, cash cards, and personal loans, aiming to reduce anxiety during the crisis and instill confidence for stable recovery.
CardX and SCB credit card customers, CardX Speedy Cash users, and CardX Speedy Loan customers may defer principal payments and receive interest waivers during the deferral period for up to 12 months.
In response to the major southern flood event, "Thairath Group" has supported "Yak Kiew" a six-wheeled truck continuously transporting aid from Bangkok to southern flood victims. They collaborate with various entities, including celebrities, foundations like the Mirror Foundation and Thairath Foundation, delivering aid to Thairath Witthaya Schools as well.
Thairath Group also partnered with ThaiPBS to request assistance with transport vehicles for delivering aid to flood recovery areas, with departures scheduled for Monday, 1 December.
Furthermore, Thairath Group and Thairath Foundation dispatched survival kits to assist students, teachers, and parents of eight Thairath Witthaya schools across five provinces: Satun, Trang, Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Phatthalung, with shipments expected around 4 December.
They also provided emergency funding to Thairath Witthaya School in Yala to purchase survival kits. The Thairath Foundation prepared 1,500 survival kits, 10 rice cookers (7 liters each) for emergency kitchens serving communities, and 1,000 packs of bottled water (12 bottles per pack), aiding 1,360 families or over 5,000 individuals.
This united effort underscores that no matter the scale of the disaster, the generosity and compassion of Thai society are even greater. Every action and donation—be it money, goods, or services—delivers encouragement and eases the heavy burdens of southern residents affected across seven provinces (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, and Pattani), helping them recover and stand resilient once again.
