
Grab Thailand Grab Thailand revealed its 2025 performance, with strong growth in travel and food delivery businesses despite challenging economic conditions. It plans to continue with its Saver and Premium strategies, offering both affordable and value-for-money services across its ecosystem. In 2026, it aims to expand into new segments, including personal loans for Grab customers, and upgrade existing services to better serve new customer groups.
Regarding loan services, this marks the first time Grab is offering services directly to the general public under the name Grab Quick Cash a personal loan service for small-scale entrepreneurs. This product is designed to help Grab customers seeking capital to start or grow their businesses, offering loans up to 20,000 baht repayable over a maximum of six months. The service is expected to launch in April.
Loan approval criteria mean Grab will not offer loans to all users but will evaluate based on user qualifications and behavior on the platform. Users must have used Grab for at least three months and be at least 20 years old.
Previously, Grab Financial offered loans to partner merchants under the name Instant Cash Loan Plus a personal business loan with a credit limit up to 2,000,000 baht, and Instant Cash Loan with a credit limit up to 100,000 baht. For riders and drivers, there is a small personal business loan with a credit limit up to 100,000 baht.
Grab remains committed to expanding beyond transportation services to strengthen its business capabilities, despite already being a major player in the delivery market with consistent revenue growth.
In 2025, according to a report byMomentum Worksthe food delivery market in Thailand was valued at 5.1 billion U.S. dollars, ranking as the second fastest-growing market in Southeast Asia after Indonesia. Grab continued to hold the largest market share in food delivery at 47%. This growth aligns with the direction of Thailand's digital economyin 2025, especially the ride-hailing and food delivery app sectors, which grew over 15%.Last year, Grab emphasized value-for-money services, such as GrabBike Saver starting at just 19 baht, GrabCar Saver, and Delivery Saver, offering more affordable choices to customers, resulting in growth across the platform and ecosystem.

Grab also promotes capabilities of its ecosystem members through services like Merchant AI Assistant to monitor sales and suggest promotions and bundle menus, driver skill development programs for effective communication, scholarships for drivers’ families, and encouraging EV vehicle use with financing options to help drivers own EVs in the future.
2026 Plans
Affordability Recently, Grab launched a new brand ambassador, “Nong Kae,” promoting the affordable strategy to attract new users and retain existing customers with various promotions.
