Audi Thailand has launched the All-new Q5 e-hybrid, the latest plug-in hybrid SUV model, at Motor Expo 2025 with prices starting at 4 million baht. Buyers are encouraged to purchase soon before prices increase due to new tax regulations.
Geoffrey Bouquot, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Audi, said the All-new Q5 e-hybrid is Audi's latest plug-in hybrid vehicle with extended electric driving range, allowing customers to comfortably handle daily travel using only electric power. Audi's hybrid technology combines the best of both worlds, offering convenience along with performance.
Customers also enjoy Audi's signature sporty driving experience, delivering full power performance combined with energy efficiency through new e-hybrid technology. The launch plan covers new models across all segments, from mid-size to large vehicles, including the Audi Q5 e-hybrid.
The All-new Q5 e-hybrid features an intelligent hybrid energy management system designed for maximum efficiency, flexibility, and convenience. In EV mode, regenerative braking efficiency has been increased.
Drivers can adjust regenerative braking strength at three levels via a steering wheel paddle. When EV mode is active, the vehicle automatically recovers energy. Electric-only driving can be easily selected using the EV button or settings within the MMI system.
Plug-in Hybrid: The ultimate combination of two power sources
The All-new Audi Q5 e-hybrid perfectly blends combustion engine power and electric technology, delivering up to 367 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It features a 2,000cc inline 4-cylinder petrol plug-in hybrid engine with direct injection and turbocharging, paired with quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds.
It reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The battery capacity has increased by 45%, providing a maximum electric driving range of 106 kilometers (NEDC) or 79.6 kilometers (WLTP) per charge. The vehicle includes S Sport suspension for confident driving and comprehensive Driving Assistance features.
The All-new Audi Q5 e-hybrid operates on the intelligent E3 (E-cube) 1.2 electronics architecture, enabling precise and fast control to support its advanced technologies. The interior design follows the Digital Stage concept for maximum convenience, meeting all user needs with a perfect driving experience and advanced curved MMI Panoramic display angled towards the driver.
It features an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus and a 14.5-inch MMI touch display. The Smart Door Panel on the driver's side centralizes key functions for easy fingertip control. A 10.9-inch MMI front passenger touchscreen allows front passengers to control various functions. Premium Bang & Olufsen sound system delivers powerful audio.
The vehicle also offers 3D sound for enhanced auditory experience, providing premium sound quality and creating a unique cabin atmosphere with dynamic interaction light—a glowing strip extending from driver to passenger side that displays charging status and responds when turn signals are activated.
Additionally, the All-new Audi Q5 e-hybrid is equipped with comprehensive driving assistance and safety systems, including adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go, proactive occupant protection for front, side, and rear, and more.
It includes lane departure warning, blind spot warning for lane changes, exit warning for side and rear surroundings when opening doors, among other alerts.
Additional features are rear cross-traffic assist when reversing, front cross-traffic assist at intersections, front emergency brake assist, swerve assist for emergency steering, turn assist for braking when turning at intersections, and distance warning for maintaining safe gaps from vehicles ahead.
