Motor Expo 2025 First Day Draws Crowds to Toyota Booth to See Hilux Travo Up Close

On the first day of Motor Expo 2025, car enthusiasts flocked to the Toyota booth to get up close with the Hilux Travo, alongside the year-end "Toyota Arigato" campaign to make car ownership easier to achieve.

On 29 Nov 2025 GMT+7, reporters observed that at the opening day of Motor Expo 2025 for the general public, many showed great interest in the Toyota booth, especially the HILUX TRAVO pickup truck.

Mr. Noriaki Yamashita, President and CEO, along with senior executives of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., stated that the new Hilux pickup models, Hilux Travo and Travo-e BEV, launched on 10 Nov 2025, were developed to meet the needs of Thai customers.

In addition to Toyota's signature quality, durability, and reliability (QDR), these models offer powerful driving performance combined with comfort and excellent fuel efficiency thanks to the Dynamic Cloud Suspension system.

The Hilux Travo is designed under the Cyber Sumo concept, embodying strength, agility, and power, reflecting Japanese tradition and the spirit of a fighter. The Hilux Travo has been warmly received by the media and especially customers, with over 10,000 Hilux units booked across all models since its launch.

Additionally, Toyota’s popular PPV market leader, the Fortuner, introduced the new Leader G Plus model, offering Toyota’s trusted quality, durability, and reliability (QDR) along with excellent specifications. The Leader G Plus is ideal for new leaders seeking a reliable PPV at an affordable ownership price.

In late August 2025, Toyota launched the New Yaris Ativ HEV Premium and HEV GR Sport models for customers seeking an eco-friendly sedan suitable for urban driving and daily use, offering agility and excellent fuel economy. Equipped with proven, trusted hybrid technology (Trusted HEV), these models have been very well received, with Toyota’s eco-cars holding over 50% market share.

The Yaris Cross, Thailand’s top-selling hybrid vehicle, introduced the distinctive Yaris Cross Nightshade, featuring unique all-around dark design accents that enhance its sporty look, perfect for customers desiring a modern, stylish urban appearance.

Another highlight is the Toyota bZ4X, a D-segment BEV electric SUV assembled and imported from Japan, built to high-quality standards with reliable parts availability and service networks. This model completes Toyota’s lineup, offering excellent driving performance, long range, and attractive pricing. Since its launch in late August, pre-orders have reached 2,000 units within just one month. Toyota sincerely thanks its customers for their support.

Meanwhile, Toyota is running the special "Toyota Arigato" campaign featuring big promotions: interest rate discounts up to 0.4%, a Smart Plan maintenance package for 50,000 km at the second service, a 7-day booking window with a chance to win vouchers up to 100,000 baht weekly across 3,000 prizes, and a third draw after car delivery to win one of 10 Japan trips for two. This campaign runs from 4 Nov 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.
