The MU-X RS we tested is powered by the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. It offers lively acceleration with smooth, seamless gear shifts. Fuel efficiency was impressive at 17 kilometers per liter on a long-distance test—exceeding the factory's average claim—making it a top-performing engine in its market segment.
Additionally, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are now standard on the Active (base) and Elegant trims, previously only available on higher-end models. This upgrade provides more comprehensive safety technology to entry-level users, including features such as:
