This marks the first time two models not yet sold in Japan—the Toyota Hilux (Travo) and Toyota Land Cruiser FJ—have been customized with additional accessories suited to modern needs and lifestyles.
At TOKYO AUTO SALON 2026, the Land Cruiser FJ was displayed with off-road style upgrades that add toughness, including gold-colored underbody skid plates matching the gold wheels of the showcased vehicle, along with a roof rack, side step guards, spare tire cover, and revised suspension.
Hilux Travo's custom kit includes a front grille and over fenders to enhance its aggressive look, side steps, and underbody skid plates for off-road use. It also features genuine Toyota accessories such as a snorkel, bed liner, and deck rails for secure cargo attachment.
A towing package allows hauling of equipment and cargo. Inside, sportier touches include modified seats, steering wheel, and gear shift aligned with the concept.
The suspension is tuned for suitable off-road handling, paired with 17-inch sporty off-road wheels wrapped in Dunlop Grandtrek R/T01 285/70R17 tires, secured with Toyota genuine Security Nut wheel bolts. Note that some genuine Toyota accessories displayed may not be available in Thailand.
