Honda Updates H Mark Logo to Drive Automotive Business Toward the Future

Honda is preparing to adopt a new "H mark" logo for its automotive business as a symbol of its commitment to driving Honda's automotive operations toward the future.

On 13 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced plans to introduce a redesigned H mark logo as a symbol of its commitment to advancing Honda's automotive business into the future.

Honda first introduced the H mark logo in 1963 as a symbol representing Honda automobiles. This H mark logo has been continuously used for automotive products and business activities, undergoing multiple design updates over the years.

Most recently, the H mark logo was redesigned alongside the development of a new generation of electric vehicles, including the Honda 0 Series lineup, which was created with the dedication to crafting Honda's new electric vehicles from the ground up, reflecting Honda's origins as an automaker.

Moreover, this logo redesign not only changes its appearance but also embodies the organization's commitment and vision to relentlessly pursue new challenges and innovations.

The new H mark logo is planned to be applied initially to both the new generation electric vehicles and new generation hybrid vehicles, starting with models scheduled to launch in the market from 2027 onward.

At the same time, Honda plans to expand the use of the new H mark logo to represent the identity of Honda's automotive business in all dimensions through products and every customer experience point, such as showrooms, service centers, communications, and motorsport activities for automobiles.

Amid this significant transition in the automotive industry toward electric power and smart technology, the new H mark logo represents the second rebirth of the Honda brand, reflecting Honda's commitment to leading change by delivering new value that exceeds customer expectations through advanced technology, creative concepts, and new efficient ways of working.
