In 2026, the EV3.0 policy concludes simultaneously with the arrival of EV 3.5, requiring participating automakers to adjust vehicle prices and models. Electric SUVs continue to gain popularity. The Jaecoo brand has produced strong sales but with minimal or no profits, barely breaking even. After three years of fierce price wars, Chinese electric car brands have aggressively expanded, forcing some Japanese competitors to lose increasing market share annually. If this trend continues, one or two Japanese brands may exit the market following Suzuki and Subaru's factory closures.
Let's take a look at electric cars priced around 600,000 baht to see which models are worth considering.
