ISUZU Invites Owners of Vehicles Over 15 Years Old to Join PM2.5 Reduction Car Clinic Program

The ISUZU Group, together with the Pollution Control Department, invites ISUZU customers with vehicles over 15 years old to join the PM2.5 Reduction Car Clinic program, offering free inspections of more than 30 items at ISUZU's standard service centers across the country.

Surin Virotethamrong, Director-General of the Pollution Control Department, said the PM2.5 Reduction Car Clinic project has been ongoing for six years since the dust problem began. It has received cooperation from the automotive group of the Federation of Thai Industries as well as ISUZU, which has helped elevate care standards through campaigns supporting consumers in changing filters and engine oil.

The main target group is diesel engine vehicle users in Bangkok and surrounding metropolitan areas, aiming for about 500,000 vehicles. This year, over 100,000 vehicles have already been serviced, and it is expected that the overall target will be met.

Meanwhile, Wichai Sinanantphat, Deputy Managing Director of Trinet ISUZU Sales Co., Ltd., said ISUZU has always prioritized air pollution issues and thus supports the PM2.5 Reduction Car Clinic project through the Old Vehicle Care campaign to maintain clear air continuously, recognizing that poorly maintained old vehicles are among the causes of air pollution.

Furthermore, ISUZU wants to help reduce the financial burden on vehicle owners while promoting proper maintenance according to standards, which effectively and sustainably reduces pollution emissions.

"Since the start of the PM2.5 Reduction Car Clinic project, we have received positive feedback from customers. Over 120,000 ISUZU vehicles have been serviced under the Old Vehicle Care campaign for clearer air at ISUZU's standard service centers nationwide. The number is increasing yearly due to rising environmental awareness. Bringing old vehicles in for inspection and maintenance at service centers can reduce emissions and black smoke by up to 60%."

The Old Vehicle Care campaign for clearer air encourages customers to bring all types of ISUZU vehicles aged 15 years or more to ISUZU's standard service centers nationwide for free inspections of more than 30 items for ISUZU pickups and SUVs, and over 50 items for ISUZU trucks of 2 tons or more.

Participants will also receive up to a 50% discount on labor and parts related to reducing air pollution, aimed at mitigating emissions from long-used and poorly maintained vehicles. The program runs from 1 December 2025 GMT+7 to 28 February 2026 GMT+7.
