Toyota Reveals Success of Hilux REVO Racing Mania, Expands Drag Racing Community

Toyota announced the success of the Hilux REVO Racing Mania event, which significantly expanded the drag racing community, attracting over 3.5 million online viewers.

Mr. Natthanon Srinivet, Assistant Managing Director of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., said the Hilux REVO Racing Mania competition aims to develop the modified car and drag racing scene in Thailand into a standardized sport with clear rules and a priority on safety.

Toyota is committed to developing this racing platform as a safe space for drivers of all levels to showcase the full potential of the Hilux REVO, fostering an open, accessible, and sustainable car enthusiast community.

The Racing Mania event began in 2018 with the creation of a prototype car displayed at the Bangsaen Grand Prix, followed by collaborations with renowned workshops to develop drag racing cars under the name Super REVO, culminating in the official launch of full drag racing competitions in 2023.

The event features lifestyle activities under the concept of free entry, free viewing, free registration, and free contests throughout, allowing Toyota vehicle owners of all models and their families to participate.

Mr. Natthanon stated that Racing Mania was established to advance the modified car scene and to build a diverse community around Hilux REVO pickup modifications, whether performance or aesthetic enhancements.

In 2025, competitions were held at four venues: Surat Thani Motorsport, Buriram United Dragster Track, Supup Grand Prix, and Bangkok Drag Avenue in Pathum Thani, concluding the season with champions crowned across 10 classes in three categories and total prizes exceeding 4 million baht.

This season marked another milestone for Hilux REVO Racing Mania, with over 300 cars registered and more than 3.5 million online viewers across all four venues, while live viewership peaked at 20,000 during races, demonstrating genuine growth in the community base.
