ISUZU expands its rugged lineup by adding the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine to the New! ISUZU V-CROSS 4x4 and MU-X THE NEXT PEAK 4WD.
Mr. Takashi Hata, Managing Director of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., said that since the launch of the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine in 2024, it has continued to gain popularity.
Recently, the company has added the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine to the 4x4 models of the ISUZU V-CROSS pickup and the MU-X 4-wheel drive SUV, strengthening Isuzu's 4WD product lineup and meeting consumer demand for high-performance vehicles that are versatile and ready for all conditions.
The engine maintains Isuzu's signature fuel efficiency. The 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission has been developed to balance power, acceleration, and fuel economy, offering a new choice for both commercial users and adventure lifestyle customers, while enhancing Isuzu's competitiveness in Thailand's 4WD market.
