On 5 Mar 2026, Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show (Motor Show 2026), stated that the ongoing tensions among the United States, Israel, and Iran could impact the global economy. Organizers view this as an external factor requiring close monitoring, and managing its overall effects will need cooperation and appropriate policy measures from the government.
Nevertheless, Thailand’s automotive industry must continue to upgrade and enhance production capabilities to maintain its role as a key manufacturing hub in the region. Continuous development of both alternative energy vehicles and more efficient internal combustion engine vehicles reflects the industry’s adaptability and market diversity.
The Bangkok International Motor Show serves not only as an international automotive innovation showcase but also as a crucial mechanism to stimulate the economy, drive sales, support the industry supply chain, promote employment and tourism, and circulate money domestically. It also boosts confidence among investors, businesses, and consumers, fostering stable and sustainable growth of Thailand’s automotive sector.
This year, 45 companies—37 automotive and 8 motorcycle brands—have confirmed participation. There will be at least 10 new model launches, covering electric vehicles and alternative energy options to meet modern consumer demands.
A key highlight is the participation of new electric vehicle brands recently entering the Thai market, including CHERY, LEPAS, FIREFLY, FORTHING, and TESLA, all making their debut at the show. This reflects global manufacturers' confidence in Thailand’s market potential.
Additionally, all companies have adjusted pricing strategies and offer attractive financial terms to facilitate purchasing decisions. These include more accessible prices, promotional campaigns, and flexible installment programs, making vehicle ownership easier and stimulating overall economic circulation. Given this response, organizers expect this year's event to generate at least 10% more revenue compared to last year.
Motor Show 2026, the 47th edition, will be held from Wednesday, 25 March to Sunday, 5 April 2026.

Mr. Peerapong Iamlumneo, CEO of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, said that this year's event, besides featuring cars, motorcycles, modern automotive technology, and accessories for viewing and purchase, will also host various special activities to enhance visitor experiences across all target groups. These include the Grand Prix Runbike Championship with RCS, a balance bike race event.
There will also be many other special activities, such as the 30th anniversary celebration of XO Autosport, known for gathering key figures in the car modification scene, and giveaways for attendees, including JDM & Custom Culture events focusing on JDM-style cars.
Visitors can also enjoy uniquely modified cars in an outdoor, warm-weather atmosphere, with over 200 top-level customized vehicles in the country on display (100 per day). Various car clubs will gather for a lively summer event at the Loading area behind Challenger Halls 1–3 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani on 28–29 March.
Additionally, the Motor Show Pay campaign offers a chance to win GIFT VOUCHERS worth over 1,450,000 baht, including 12 prizes of 100,000 baht for car bookings and 5 prizes of 10,000 baht for motorcycle bookings.
There are also activities for ticket holders, such as registering for a chance to win 10 prizes of 5,000 baht GIFT VOUCHERS, and completing surveys to win 4 prizes of 25,000 baht GIFT VOUCHERS.
Motor Show 2026 will take place at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1-3, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. Visitors can travel by the Pink Line MRT to Muang Thong Thani Station (MT01/MT02) or by private car, with parking available.
